I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for an actor to portray or take part in a retelling of brutality that was inflicted on one’s ancestors in this way. I think it’s important to portray historically accurate depictions of these matters, and I applaud her for her strength in choosing to do it as a way of exposing people who may not be aware, to the realities of the American frontier.

That’s what hits the hardest, not being able to relive childhood experiences as an adult / parent because they’re just not there any more. We’re not the first generation it’s happened to and it’s a part of growing up, but damn it stings.

Of course if you told 9 year old me who’s just missed that weeks only airing of Batman TAS that in the future every episode of every show will be available on demand I’d think you’d be living in a utopia. The reality is that convenience erodes the charm and it all blurs together. But I don’t know where I’d be if I couldn’t bring up the specific episode of Bluey that my girls want to watch.

yeah I've been noticing it in cheaper productions, mainly Netflix. I tried to watch that show about that Dog who inherited millions but it was unwatchable because the music was blasted way to loud in comparison to the dialogue.

But it's so weird because junior sound engineers are a dime a dozen, and mixing basic 5.1 is not that hard.

>Wow what a condescending, shitty comment that adds nothing to the conversation.

Please elaborate on how you would add to the conversation? What conversation is there to be had when responding to "I dislike this show personally, so I hope it gets cancelled"? What is there to discuss?

>You can tell how defensive fans get when they resort to this

Yes, when you have someone saying "I hate this show so much, I hope it ends," the person saying "you know, why don't you go get invested in something you actually like" is definitely the defensive one. And it especially isn't the person who feels like hating things is such a valid hobby, that they lash out when its validity is questioned.

Not sure if OP has been living in a cave or just came out of a coma after 5 years, but most, or all of these shows are pretty well known.

Also, don’t get all the love for Mindhunter. Plot is slow as hell and the lead and his gf are not good actors. The bar scene between them was terrible and hard to watch.
