Mindunter is criminally underrated, no pun intended. Very wordy at times, but you'd expect that from Fincher. Shame it didn't get the viewership needed for a third season.

Tv have loudness equalization? Night mode works for some people. Could probably play around with the equalizer, decrease base and increase the higher frequency sounds a bit. Likely won't be a universally good setting.

Killing Eve is worth watching for the performances alone, I'd treat it more like a black comedy than be too critical of the progressively illogical plot.

And Hank buying Elvis Costelllo's car. The whole episode makes me laugh outloud thinking about it.

Apple is currently the only service I am willing to pay for. I like a lot of their content. I only pay a few months a year however to simply catch up on everything they release.

Apple has a diversified business model where most of their money is coming from selling hardware and the app store. That plus their cash on hand probably means Apple+ can thrive without subscriber or advertising pressures. Same with Amazon and to a lesser extent D+.

Jeffrey Tambor was an amazing character actor for so many decades and Hey Now Hank is his best role. A shame how his career ended but his body of work still stands up.

Probably but I got the sense this show was a lot more revolutionary when it came out and has since become pretty dated.

Feels like a weird crossroads between episodic and serialized network television.

Carmen Sandiego, and like op mentioned, there were a ton of animal shows. I didn't watch them regularly, as I was basically in middle/high school when the shift really happened, but I remember them being on for the first hour or two before cartoons started.

I was really hoping that this show doesn't get a second season as this current one has been a chore to sit through.
