The article mentions that some party has the chance to reinvent the car, and that qualcom is really making the fully connected digital chassis.

Here's my problem with it all - I don't car about your chassis if you can't figure out how to replace batteries easily. Inevitably, EVs will take over. I want a way to change the battery in a few hours, not weeks.

By extension, this also means that hopefully you would be able to purchase a new cabin of a vehicle and swap it onto your existing platform. Sick of your interior? Keep your platform but buy a new cabin.

That's my pipe dream. A few sled types (small medium or large) that you then, can then add cabins to. Future cars will be more like horse carriages.

**Someone already replied but I'll put it again, BayArea owners keep on voting against to put more residential buildings to protect their overpriced real estate.

This is the reality tbh.

So you might see these spaces mostly getting converted to some kind of mall or something else which doesn't effect the house prices**

My team and coordinate when we will go into the office. And sometimes we go weeks without going in and sometimes we have to go in everyday for a few weeks. Really depends on where we are on a project. Go in during initial brainstorming. WFH doing the bulk of the early software development. Back to the office to do bring-up and debug on new hardware.

A better idea would be to introduce regulation for big-banks to price property rentals at or slightly below market rents with high fees for keeping properties vacant to drive up the cost of rentals.

They'll quickly realize they're not making as much money as they want and will sell the properties themselves.

Investement stimulates economic activity. As a super simple example, it can make it possible to start a business without already having the necessary capital. The alternative to investing money is simply hoarding it, which benefits no one but the person who has it. Money really only exists when it is in motion, and investment keeps it in motion. I'm sorry the world isn't as simple as you would like it to be.
