I think that was about ready to happen sans AI.

I don’t. Just as i don’t think that thousands of decentralized systems of solar paneling are equal to a central power plant well built, planned, funded, and staffed.

There are 3 ways an adversary can read your encrypted message:
-
Somebody gave them the key, either deliberately or by mistake.
-
The algorithm is faulty or weak.
-
The adversary has the resources to do a brute-force attack. That relates somewhat to #2.
All of these can be avoided, if you do it right. Sometimes people don't do it right.

The only real advantages they have left are not needing to buy through a dealership middle-man, and their charging network. And the latter is a very real differentiator if you plan on going long-distances in your EV.

Distributed virtual power plants are a thing now, and will only grow. As with anything else, as the units go up the price per comes down.

Another benefit is safety - LFP batteries do not react nearly as catastrophically to overcharging, overheating and physical impact as NCA or NMC.

The iron flow batteries are on the way. Much longer duration, higher cycles and way lower cost. Consumes some of the energy though.

I read a news article a couple days ago about a group of researchers in one of our universities creating a new sodium addative of sorts to use in Lithium-ion batteries. It seems to increase the lifespan of these batteries by about ten-fold. I believebit had to do with li-ion batteries using up sodium in the batteries to self-repair damage caused by charging and discharging the batteries. By changing the types of sodium in the battery, the amount of sodium used in each cycly was greatly reduced. I am by no means an expert on the matter, so I hope this made sense. I believe the article was released in one of the major physics magazines.

In addition to the cost, and that nuclear promises have always been false, those new reactors use fuel made only in Russia.

Just get it now. There's nothing wrong with it unless your computer doesn't meet minimum requirements. Which are high compared to majority of previous games but it runs well.

Solar can go on existing structures. It doesn’t require any additional land.

That would be great if they made any ev’s in an volumes at all…. 13k last year and an enormous jump to 24k this year… meanwhile tesla is going to build 2M.
Everyone is just so far behind Tesla now its sad. I do compliment Ford for being quick to realize they are 15 years behind. But they are not doing anything close to peoples claims of how fast the existing car brands could move to ev’s. It’s nothing similar at all. Entirely different supply chains, engineering staff, supply chains, etc etc etc.

No they can't which is the entire point of this and the other internet related lawsuit at the SC. You are supposed to either be able to host all content and not be held responsible for the actions of its users or actively curate it and be responsible for its content. Not both simultaneously.

True but less feasible then it sounds. It’s easier to have them on dedicated land where maintenance would be easier, and also to not have to put them way up on stilts or make avenues under for tractors and risk damage or vandalism that comes with it being a public place. Unguarded panels off to the side of daily life can still get vandalized, but it would be an extra trip…

You don’t find the ideas that they charged more than the market would bear and they can’t keep up with demand to be mutually exclusive? How does that work?
