No. That's actually one use for blockchains. Record an event. Derive a hash value from the recording. Post the hash value to a blockchain, which time-stamps it. If several people record the same event from different viewpoints independently and have the same timestamps, you can be pretty sure it was a real event.
"People" can be a municipal streetcam, and security cameras on either side of a street, assuming the buildings have different owners. If they all match, it was a real event.

Seems like embellishment and exaggeration are requirements for AI writing news articles recently.

If you’re going to make jokes at least post data.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/585140/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-weapon-carried-2016/
27 unarmed people were shot in 2022.
More blacks died from almost everything else.
Edit: said 27 unarmed black when it was just people.

Weirdly I keep catching myself saying 'Please' with ChatGPT requests. Not caught myself saying 'Thank you' yet though.

I can second this. This story hit home for me because the victim was traveling for work and staying at a hotel, like I did for a while. He was an an exterminator contracted.by home depot corporate to remove birds from their garden centers. He had a pellet gun in his room that he used to shoot pigeons. Someone in the hotel pool saw the silhouette of a gun through the blinds on his room and called Mesa police. They show up, homey is half drunk, cuz what else do you do on the road, and start playing a demented game of Simon says with the poor guy. He reached down to hike up his baggy pants and they shot him. And the rifle that had the carving in it was a shotgun, so yeah you're definitely fucked if that thing is pointed at you. Demented shit right there.

A lotnof basic coding can be done via AI already. If you don't have a niche and or sre not a problem solving programmer. You will be out of a job, like a lot of people easily replacable skills.

It’s scale, that’s what makes AI so scary. You can do exactly the same propaganda techniques, but you can put out 1000x more content that is auto generated. Entire fake comment threads online.
Then they can make deep faked content that says whatever they want. They could convince the world that the president has started nuclear war for example. Deep fake an address, etc. And that’s just one example
Our entire view of reality and truth will change

ISO is short for ISO 9660 which is the CD image spec. It just means burning a CD image to a USB device to boot off.
Essentially, you can boot PCs off removable media, and typically that is some sort of USB device with an alternative OS on it. You might have in your time booted off a physical CD as a recovery option. Because physical media has ceases to become popular, USB sticks have replaced them, but the mechanism is the same,

While this is interesting, I would be more excited by an AI that could find edge cases, rare, unreproduceable bugs, unintended dependencies and all of the other stuff that human programmers seem incapable of finding

because it would be irresponsible to start shooting at someone who is attacking the victim, because they might shoot the victim in the process.
Do you want the police to stop shooting people needlessly or not? don't compare times when they act appropriately with times they don't. They were responding to a call and Pelosi said, "he's a friend" ON THE 911 CALL.

But we already have malicious propaganda machines and they aren’t even that expensive to use. That’s ignoring the fact that propaganda doesn’t need to be sophisticated in any way to be believed by a bunch of people; we live in a world where anti-vaxxers and flat earthers regularly twist information to support their irrational beliefs. Margery green Taylor recently posted a tweet in which she used three made up numbers to support her argument. There isn’t anything chatGPT or stable diffusion or any other AI can do to our society that isn’t already being done on a large scale using regular existing technology.
