Umm...duh?
The issue has never been whether we had the right or not. That's obvious. The ISSUE is the fucking POLICE who don't give a shit, do whatever they want anyway, and don't pay for it.

I wonder how long until some country is lured into a false flag attack from this. It's gonna get scary not just because of what the AI will be capable of, but because it means zero trust from anything you see, hear, or are exposed too once this happens in the wake of the aftermath; which means more authoritarian methods will need to be imposed to ensure authentic communication methods.

Capitalism inherently trends toward monopoly. Just look at how few companies own nearly everything in the global economy.

This goes double for if you are speaking to Bing, no one wants to see Sydney angry.

There is no way any of that should be patentable.

Someone should sell cameras that point at the side windows and automatically start livestreaming during traffic stops. And that cannot be turned off for at least one hour once switched on.

Only as long as you are recording form public property. You can't go onto their lawn to record, with some weird exceptions

I live in Paris, so I have fiber. But even though adsl is coming to an end (all operators are removing Adam at the moment), there are quite a lot of areas where internet connection is still not good.

Literally has nothing to do with developers, do you think every reply and context is put in there by someone?
If you prompt an ai chat bot to start talking about dark things SURPRISE it will start talking about dark things, you’re baiting the ai into that topic and then act surprised when it interacts back with you. This is exactly what all these “concerning” articles and news about ai are doing.

Not quite. If a cop is found to violate your civil rights a judge can choose to waive qualified immunity.

To me this was peak internet. Many had high speed internet at home and were able to discover new music, news, ideas, etc. but before social media and smartphones so we weren't the self indulgent zombies when we were out in public.
