Fair enough; even though I haven't experienced that, I've noticed that video playback has been stuttery tonight, so it's either something else coincidentally or just more Chrome issues.

Not with my experience. It boots me to the start of a video, subreddit, .etc .etc and reloads it far more often than not.

This is pretty interesting to me. So you're saying when they lifted the cap, existing employees' comp was not changed, but I'm guessing new hires are being brought in within the new range (meaning way larger base salaries than their incumbent peers)? Are they given smaller new hire stock packages to balance out total comp? I can't imagine trying to measure internal pay equity between two people in the same role/grade/location and are on two entirely different comp strategies. And then keeping those two distinct strategies up-to-date against current market data. Sounds like a nightmare.
They should have moved everyone over at the same time and incurred a one-time expense, while simultaneously dropping their stock refresh budgets.

The CO2 in the atmosphere is minuscule compared to the total CO2 in the oceans. So if you are taking CO2 from the oceans and believe that removing a tiny time percentage will some how magically lower atmospheric levels of CO2, I think you are wrong. Please keep in mind man’s scientific understanding of the total CO2 cycle is surprisingly poor. 95% of total CO2 released into the atmosphere is done naturally with the CO2 cycle. Please tell me who can accurately measure the natural sources of CO2 with a greater degree of certainty of +- 5%?

The new Chrome settings do not preclude you from starting where you left off, it just takes a second to reload the page with the video at the spot you left it (give or take a few seconds).

When you realize what’s eating up RAM is Google sending out your data to third parties for profit.

There is such a thing as being too efficient delegating tasks to automated systems to the point of just being cheap and lazy. We’ve been publicly beta testing these cost cutting measures but there’s no profit motive to make free services anything more than barely usable.

You can also make single layer PCBs at home using etching solution and a Sharpie to draw the circuit. Or a laser printer to print onto a transparency sheet, and using an iron to transfer the toner onto the copper side or PCB.

I don't know if it's been improved with the latest models, but the CPU in the 2020 is dog slow which makes using the map painful.
Otherwise? Great car

Sure. It’s either the current system or your absurd plan. There are no other possible options whatsoever.

I never said it didn’t. I just think your solution is childish and unworkable.

May not be for me but it’s cute and has the snark appeal for the increasingly niche, self-cultivating culture the site has built for itself. You can stack the verification badges, make them into a rainbow gradient, etc. Some users have spent hundreds of dollars just buying an inordinate amount of badges just to make their posts a little more irritating to look at. It’s all kind of funny and charming.
