Manziel was an anomaly. He was good at the scramble and made shit up on the fly. It’s like a backyard quarterback who just runs around and tells his receivers to get open.

Johnny wasn't even particularly talented as a QB. Average arm, average accuracy, bad at reading defenses. But he was really good at maneuvering the pocket to buy time. All to just toss 10 jump balls to Mike Evans all game.

Yeah. Well we always called it “European handball” in my PE classes in Canada. So I always assumed outside of school it was a Europe thing

I was exposed to it in Physical education in Canada, and felt like I had potential. Wasn’t able to find a place to play more, and I was in a large city by Canadian standards.

I remember reading a Dirk Nowitski interview, where in Germany Handball is for men and basketball is for women. I don’t understand how it wouldnt be considered a ‘manly’ enough sport.
