I highly doubt the government is just going to start handing out cash.
It's not how welfare is handled today, and today's welfare programs will be the model any future benefits are based off of. With the realization that there will be a very strong incentive to find cost savings as the scale and scope increases.
Today's welfare systems uses food stamps (EBT), WIC, subsidized housing (I've seen as low as $25/month, all utilities included), and even clothing vouchers for kids going to school.
The natural progression for cost saving is not giving cash instead of necessities, it's using economies of scale. The military provides models for cheaply housing and feeding large numbers of people, and I believe that is the direction government will move to save money.

No it never will be. It’s literally a force of evolution. Sense the dawn of time things have been crawling out of the water and onto the land. It will always be this way as long as the universe continues to evolve and expand.
Edit: no to your second question about desire, not your first question

It seems like gene editing, nanotechnology, BCI virtual reality, or some combination, developed and powered by AGI/ASI should make this possible eventually. Hopefully this can happen early next decade but that might be a bit optimistic. Morphological freedom is good for different species identities too

It depends if consciousness can ultimately be transferred in some way from one brain to another or into a substrate that can easily be moved between bodies.

For me it’s not about the desire to be someone else. I’m more about augmenting the human making the world more accessible through tech.

- Citizens with UBI, probably no job and no capital: Mainly urban areas, lifestyle might depend on former job
- Citizen without jobs, before UBI: Urban, downgrading lifestyle, working for people who want human servants
- People with no citizenship and without UBI: Countryside for farming by hand after end of fossil energy
- Very rich people: Wherever they want, but also in the urban areas
- Financially independent people (mostly men): Countryside (often with their robowaifus)
- Innovators which can still find ways to make money: Countryside (often with their robowaifus)

If they were putting it back into the company it would be in their budget, not excess profit, a high rate of tax on excess profits encourages exactly what you are describing, the reality is since Reagan wealth inequality has increased, if they were doing what you think they are doing, that wouldn’t be the case.

>Anime-Planet has some tags to find on-topic shows. However, some shows are missing the right ones or have wrong ones. Android is used as a generic term for humanoid robots. Cyborgs can be ones withna human brain or a human-like body but a CPU. Then there are shows which might have some fembot character, but it isn't the main protagonist.
We don't need to go through all of them, if they have poor ratings. Some are also very short e.g. some with Drossel. Feel free to go through the lists, I just think some filtering makes sense.

Alita: Battle Angel (live-action version)
Terminator SCC https://terminator.fandom.com/wiki/Terminator:_The_Sarah_Connor_Chronicles
Turbo Kid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFlZ6pVtnv0[Embed]
Tomorrowland (2015): Inspiring fembot in a child-like body, movie might have a lot of Illuminati symbolic.

Her (nice voice, but that's it)
M3gan: Robot raising a child, but a western horror movie from 2023, so with a negative framing

>Games
Nier Automata is the most mentioned.
The old Westwood Blade Runner features one gynoid that can be saved.
Turbo Kid game is in the making, might include a synthetic girlfriend, maybe even Apple.
There are plenty of visual novels, hentai or dating games with some kind of synthetic girlfriend or robowaifu.

That would not be UBI, though, would it?
UBI is universal basic income, which people would get irrespective of their needs. If you don't need your version, why would you need a dormitory bed and government cheese?

I personally wouldn’t. There’s a big difference between not having to work to survive and money being no object.
If I had millions to build my dream home I might leave the city but I otherwise prefer urban life despite having been raised in a rural area.

So you want to stop research and development and expansion? I mean what are you getting at. They don't just sit on the money in the bank. They reinvest it in their own business or buy stocks that help other companies.
