No, the actual definition is the point in time when technological progress makes predictions of the future useless. Usually in context of AI, but it could also be due to other technology.

FTFY.
Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
-
Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.
-
Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

Per Marx, the act of overproducing and investing the surplus is what capitalism is.
He wasn’t against that, quite the opposite in fact, he was just arguing that the laborers were not payed the amount of value they put in their work. (Quite debatable, problem of « transferance » still stands today)
Communism would put an end to this by creating a « man of a new type » with socially determined needs and abilities (aka, ants).
The intermediate stage towards that goal would be the « dictatorship of the proletariat », guided by the genius vision of the central committee and the gentle authority of the KGB.
But it didn’t work.
And capitalism remained, and will remain always.
Because the act of investing overproduction will also stand true with AI, only this time the workers won’t work anymore and the capitalist will reside in a GPU.

Sorry, but this was not a "fully automated process" by any means. Not even remotely close. Did you not see the bit where the dude manually placed all of the 250+ camera angles inside their scene? There was a tonne of human hours put into making this.
I think you are massively underestimating the effort that went into the creation of this thing.

Exchange means you have something of value to trade.
Who is going to let you have his seat on his plane, have his spot at Machu Pichu, have his quiet spot of land to grow kale or have his bio baby milk formula, if you don’t give him something he wants in return?
AI is not going to make everything plentiful, and those simple thing we have today (automagically because you live in the US), may become what’s gonna be scarce in the future.
Even a WOW player develops a career in game because it is more efficient for him to acquire scare ressources that way…

Actually, yeah, that is pretty OP.

I cannot tell you to be honest. I just can tell that the data isnt credible and not something that can be proven or found. However most news now adays is speculation anyway. But if you want a direct answer it is this; the data and information you reference to in your thread has zero reason to be tossed around on the internet and zero reason for any company to disclose any such similar info.

>king of England
Did you mean the King of the United Kingdom, the King of Canada, the King of Australia, etc?
The last King of England was William III whose successor Anne, with the 1707 Acts of Union, dissolved the title of Queen/King of England.
####FAQ
Isn't King Charles III still also the King of England?
This is only as correct as calling him the King of London or King of Hull; he is the King of the place that these places are in, but the title doesn't exist.
Is this bot monarchist?
No, just pedantic.

Are there more workers than ever before? I don't see them. The share of the population that is actually working is declining for decades.
When does a young person truly start working? Close to a majority after college. It was at 15 or earlier not long ago.
Huge parts of the population is on disability, which is more or less wellfare. Millions suck off military/govt pensions after 2-3 decades of work which is also wellfare in a sense.
And there is the ever growing masses of retirees, from old age to asset millionaires living off passive income.
All in all, people who actually go out and work are fewer and fewer in number.

If the social ladder will be completely removed by AGI as you say, the very essence of society will change. When that happens, also political systems change, its a natural consequence. I am european, and its quite natural for me to think this way. But I see that americans are so strongly rooted in hardcore capitalism (the old american dream and bla bla..) that, as the motto goes, its easier to think about the end of the world than the end of capitalism (for the average american Joe).

These are all things that are unique to animation, and what makes it special to most people. If you don't like these aspects of it, isn't that what live action exists for? Not even just anime, animation in general thrives off of these "annoying" aspects.

Better value, and they could produce a lot more. A single artist could create an entire anime series by itself. Instead of having to wait years for another season of anime, they could produce them much more faster.
It can be a total revolution. Like going from not using computers, to having computers, but maybe even more

Chinese, which is what the link focuses on has similar context issues. I understand the context problem you're talking about. A sentence can have multiple meanings until grounded in context.
Context can be derived from the language, just not necessarily in an isolated sentence. It may be derived from the sentence that precedes it. Bilingual LLMs have that figured out much better than traditional translation systems.
It's definitely possible for a preceding sentence to not have the context necessary but humans would struggle with that too.
