Rappahannock on grace is the classic but birdies on broad is relatively new and is pretty solid.

If you are ordering in bulk, Rappahannock Oyster Co pulls theirs fresh to order given a few days' notice. They are owned by the same company that runs Merrior on the northern neck.

I never said I was defending slapping up a mural without asking within one of these districts, or that I was against these districts with rules. I also understand how and why they work. Though I will say someone liking old architecture and the city having specific colors to choose from for a house are pretty different things.

I've known three people who said they got nothing in the mail about it and were not made aware of it during the buying process. I also just spoke to a code guy the other day who said they don't send anything.

Regardless, this is a common problem in this city, not just with things like mural. The city has a problem with people knowing they are in these zones and educating them as to what that means. It's not all their fault, but they're doing a pretty crap job at their end if they want these rules followed.

I agree. Our current public housing model, in order to work properly, needs loads of reform.

Within the YIMBY model, I like your idea of vouchers, which would help low-income people in the free market.

I appreciate you providing clarity on your position and motivations.

having worked in that line in the past, some do that intentionally for that reason. it's considered a perk of the job.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Dodson for the last two years. They fixed my stuff immediately when something was broken, and I don't think rent is bad at all. Haven't needed Evernest yet so can't comment on them, but rent only went up something like $30 this renewal.

Our condo HOA just switched to Evernest in January, and it’s been one idiotic mess up after another with establishing payment. Horrible communication regarding anything and everything.

Yes, James River Oysters (And other Chesapeake Bay Varieties) are served by many restaurants in RVA. Went to Rappahannock Restaurant recently and they had some excellent oysters
