In an ideal world, no. But all evidence suggests it will continue to be the case. Meanwhile, public housing concentrates poverty and thereby attracts crime.

A better approach might be vouchers that can be spent on housing on the free market. It doesn't concentrate poverty and gives low income individuals more choice in where they live.

>There was a comment above that you are a realtor.

I'm sorry, this is really distracting: I'm not (nor have I ever been) a realtor nor a property developer, nor have I worked in related fields like finance or property management or landlording or construction or what have you. I don't profit from construction. I am a homeowner, and so some would argue that increased development that I favor might decrease my property value...

Removery out towards Short Pump, but only dealt with the the last two places they used to be called. Tl;dr when they opened I got a couple free sessions in exchange for advertising, but they tried to strong arm me into an expensive payment plan after the first one. Whoever owned the place found out, fired everyone and hired all new staff. Whatever they were called last reached out, apologized and offered me in writing as many free sessions to remove as I wanted. Followed through on it and never tried to sell me on anything after that.

Throwing this out there as well before someone inevitably asks. The pico removal is a breeze. Quick and fairly painless, you can feel it but not anywhere as bad as getting tattooed is. Older lasers are brutal. Had to go through that to get some red out of the tattoo. Needed two more sessions of that one and never even bothered after the first lol

That’s great to hear. I don’t think the pros really know what is going on just yet, and anyone who knows me in real life will probably laugh that.. of course this is my child, but he’s basically got some kind of disconnect and speaks his own language and gets frustrated when people don’t understand him. Once he is over it, he’s just done and wanders off to do his own thing which I think makes it hard to keep him engaged. For people he likes he will change the topic but if you push he just won’t play ball at all.

For example tonight I was trying to practice one technique and he started singing his own version of wheels on the bus except when he gestured the doors going OPEN and SHUT he just put his hand over my mouth. Point taken, Sir. Toddlers are wild.

Melvin was awesome. I had many many conversations with him. He was such a rare kind of person to meet now. He was born, lived in, and passed in the same house on Dumbarton. He had many good stories and a frank view on life that he was not abashed to share. also to be such a great mentor to lakeside kids and helping fellow businesses... A man to be admired. :)

I love this thread so much. I was putting our toddler down and heard it the first time. Doing what I do for a living, rumbles are…. unsettling, lol. I looked outside and there was literally nothing happening, and I got confused. Then we got a free power washing

VCU is a major university based hospital, and many physicians are lent to the VA from VCU. (Or however that works, they’re in VCU attire)

The VA is much better than it used to be, but doesn’t compare to VCU. What are you looking to do specifically

Just a general rule of thumb is fuck Dodson and Evernest. They’re so disorganized, rude, slow, and unhelpful. Had a leak in my ceiling and went to work then realized I forgot my keys and the repair man was Hiroshimaing my toilet with the door open. Same dude tried walking in while my gf didn’t have a shirt on.
