If I still see sun can it still be considered a night post?

Worked without much to show for it. Grilling some jerked pheasant, jerked squirrel, asparagus, and potatoes right now. Lovely afternoon to burn meat over a fire.

T_T We used to live adjacent to Lakeside and I missed going there when I moved, I was hoping to start again once I came up here, would love to continue supporting the business. I hope it stays open.

Unfortunately they have closed down, or have moved.

Maybe the college of Bugs Bunny and Roy Lichenstein imagery evokes the civil right struggle as perceived by white kids who grew up taking ski trips and Bahamas vacations, but are now keeping it real by living in the city.

I'm me experience, if it's metal and you can get it to the street with a free sign on it, it will be gone within the day

So, why do you think a historic preservation district may align with old discriminatory real estate practices? Historic districts are often of higher value. Monument Avenue Church Hill south of Broad Street would be local examples.

Management companies are just a reflection of what state laws let them get away. Best case, they will do the bare minimum (but usually below that because enforcement is basically nonexistent)
find an independent landlord. They can be just as bad, but I can also be really good.

I put in a request for quotes on a few local HVAC websites last fall and got a call from a WaterFurnace rep. He said he couldn't tell me for sure without an on site visit but looking at satellite images and talking about the size of our house he gave a rough ballpark of $50k. We have solar panels and he told me we would need to expect a bigger electric draw over the winter when we are currently building up a buffer that helps offset our summer cooling. That all makes sense to me. I am still interested but that price point means I will need to take more time considering my options.

Currently writing cover letters for internships after work while trying to catch up on some assignments. I’ve been wanting to watch All Quiet on the Western Front but haven’t gotten around to it.

Fin and feather is amazing. I'm in Florida now, when I moved here I thought I'd have more selection. But no. Fin and feather gets the best assortment of fish I've seen. So many oddball and unique species.
Underrated Richmond gem.

They do send something. You are also made aware of it when purchasing the property in one of these districts. All of the "rules" have wiggle room and that is why there are monthly meeting to appeal. There is a big difference between painting your white trim grey and covering the entire side of a building with a mural. Your neighbor, who likes the historic architecture, may not enjoy staring at a giant face because you like it and hired a friend to paint it.

Which historic preservation map are you trying to erroneously connect to a racial injustice from the past? Would it be the one on Monument Avenue or Jackson. Ward? Both are historic districts that were voted into by property owners in that particular area years ago.

My god man. This person took time out of their day to shed some light on a situation and you feel the need to come over the top and rip on them and it turns out they aren’t even guilty of what you accuse them of. Maybe time to step away from the keyboard and take some deep breaths outside.

Spent the day sleepin and did some homework. Boyfriend and I are gonna make some spicy bourbon wings and have a little charcuterie night tonight and play the last of us 2 so I'm pretty pumped for that.
On a different note, does anyone know about the fire at Cooper's hawk?
