Depends on size, but you should be fine:

The Valentine has a great history-ific gift shop. No admission necessary to shop. Also the Library of Virginia and Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

This is not a thing anymore. Pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence. The chesterfield chamber is much more diverse and understanding group than it used to be!

We use Fabscapes for some of our yard and tree stuff. Jim and his team are timely and nice to deal with. Send them an email or phone call and see if they'd be someone you'd want to work with.

Stonewall Richmond just ended their winter season for yoga, but they said they will most likely be doing a spring one. We had a good time going every Tuesday. Be sure to check em out.

RPS has a similar meeting. It is focused on outreach. How can RPS family liaisons work with faith leaders to get in to the community to discuss importance of attendance, to offer resources available in RPS, to offer numbers to call if families need help with transportation etc.

Completed the 200 hour at Yoga Dojo. Was on the fence about it around 5 years ago, but wanted to deepen my practice. Changed careers and found the time. Absolutely worth it on a personal level. Yoga Dojo's new studio is beautiful and comfortable. The vibe is a little less "woo woo" and more "normal people" if that means anything. Some of the folks I met during training and practice at the dojo are now among my closest friends. Lauren and Adrian run an awesome studio that will help motivate you to become both a better yogi and a great teacher. Aside from the instructor and classmates' high level of practice and empathy, they also consistently bring in world class traveling teachers. When I did my YTT they had Henry Winslow (He "won" yoga that year at the world yoga asana championships. His attention to detail in cuing is incredible), a Cirque De Soleil performer, and i think Kristen Leal who wrote Meta Anatomy as guest teachers. I only taught for a short while before the pandemic hit, but the experience as a whole was very rewarding. Feel free to PM any questions, but your best bet is to pick up a 3 class pass and take a few of Adrian and Lauren's classes to see if you like what they've got going on. Good luck!

We had ours in September at Linden Row Inn. Small dining room with multiple tables attached to a courtyard where we had a bar set up beforehand. Gorgeous.

Start a Chesterfield branch of the Satanic Temple and then you’ll be “qualified” to attend. (Kind of serious, I’m sure TST would be happy to intervene in this kind of thing)

Shagbark has a room (actually 2 I think) that's separate. We did an event there and everything was excellent. Highly recommend.

Yeah! I was working at the Starbucks in Carytown at the time. I remember I was arriving to work when I noticed a huge cloud of smoke coming up from the horizon to the east. I remember wondering if we had just been hit by a terrorist attack (9/11 was still pretty fresh in our minds at this point). I quickly learned it was a fire.
Was that the same time that they were having gas leaks which caused them to close off certain blocks?

You can definitely rent it out privately through their events coordinator at innsbrook. I’ve done it twice and we’re doing it again next month. Also op replied that sit down wasn’t required.

CRT has one meaning. There are not multiple interpretations. It isn't being taught in schools. Outside of colleges. The people who complain about CRT in schools outside of colleges are people who don't want to understand History. They are complaining about teaching history.

The shot of the one quint with the nozzle still in rescue mode pretty much encapsulates the experience.
