Movies in this case, 50s-90s time-wise.

Im confused as to what it is that you want? In general yimbys want strict zoning laws “softened” so that multifamily homes and other alternatives to single family homes can be built in a particular area.
People advocating for that in one area doesn’t preclude it from happening elsewhere. While I agree that the developers need to start paying attention to other parts of the city it’s not like this group is actively courting them and paying them off to only develop north of the river. If anything I would think this group would be happy to see that kind of investment in poorer areas as well.

No it takes that many people to hold a child still possibly so they can find a vein. They weren’t trying to find this guys vein or give him a shot. They weren’t holding him down to administer treatment, so I don’t see how thats the same thing like at all

Thanks for the insight. Kicking myself for not knowing some were 50% off last week!

Probably to collect data on bike lane usage so they can make better informed decisions on future bike route planning.

There are more reasons than could be succinctly described here why Richmond can’t.
Mostly staffing, funding and decades of disinvestment. Same as many things in town.

I think they’re contracted to do a set number of waves, but almost all the sets end up on clearance and Best Buy had 50% off the whole line on Mario day just last week (march 10th, MAR 10)

I think our traffic planners have room temperature IQs.

I was just bitching about this. Yet another thing this city/VDOT can’t competently manage.
I was stuck right before 15th. No signage. No traffic cop. No direction. People were driving over curbs/on sidewalks to get out.

What's the point of this? I've seen it around before but I genuinely don't know the purpose.

The James River Film Festival (or whatever it's called these days) is run by a bunch of local film makers, seems like that's up your alley.

Also consider the Leigh St bridge to Mosby to Princess Anne to 21st/E Clay to get from downtown into the side of CH.
There's so much street work happening lately, it's hard not to get snagged up somewhere.

I assume they pay about half of whatever the value is on bricklink. I have not sold to them yet but have about a hundred $2-$3 mini figures I’d like to unload.
Also note that the Mario line pretty much failed so the prices aren’t going to be that good on those sets

Yes, but that has clearly not happened repeatedly in Richmond because of the lack of equity between areas (for many reasons.) The saying rising tides raise all ships isn't true here.
If we really want to talk about displacing low income individuals with housing we should be looking at VCU...

No developers, no multi-family. Proper management of increased assessments and other taxes so that it isn't continually funneled toward a few areas. We should be pushing home ownership over more rental properties. Owning makes you care more about your house and your community.
