Yep! We have space for two personal setups currently; but you'll only have one outlet, so bring a power strip if you need more than that. Also, on topic, Smash 64 is occasionally featured in the regular lineup as well!

Anyone have suggestions for jobs in Richmond and surround areas?

I have been at my current job for almost 10 years and I burnt out as fuck. I'm thinking of changing careers entirely, but haven't found anything enticing yet.

On paper I make over 62K annually but after taxes and our stupidly expensive health insurance I bring home about half that. I'm looking for something that would let me take home at least 3K per month after taxes and benefits.

I am open to blue collar trades, but not interested in food service.

Any ideas? And yes, I am already watching the LEGO openings like a hawk and have applied for 2 of the currently open positions.

This is a relatively new event, about a month running so far, this being the second Fight Night; we're around 10 regulars plus 5-10 "new" people, with increasing participation each week. I'm in a few fighting game clubs (they're my personal fave), which are where my regulars originate, so there's at least a few Smash opponents available including myself! Melee/64 will be featured on the CRT some each month as well.

RPS has been doing this in the high schools and at some of their middle schools since the ‘90’s. Every year the metal detectors find weapons. It’s not foolproof, but it’s not a new system in the city, and there is decades of data and enforcement on the matter. More school shootings happen in suburban environments than city environments and it’s directly related to schools in urban areas having tighter campus security and metal detectors.

I did not feel like the detectors I walked through every day in high school were security theater or that it made school feel like a prison
