Because that's illegal? Similar to how you're not allowed to drink your own alcohol on a plane that wasn't purchased and served by an employee on that plane; even if you purchased duty free alcohol at the airport terminal, it can't be opened onboard a plane.

There are liability and insurance issues with outside alcohol, too.

I’d recommend definitely eating before or getting some food to take on the plane. In Breeze “first class” you’ll get free soda/beer and a (large) bag of chips or candy, but there is no sort of substantive food and that is a pretty long flight. Just something to be aware of. Also, there is no wifi or entertainment, so be sure to download movies/tv ahead of time if that’s your thing.

Nice that sounds good. I don’t care about it being bougie with free drinks or fancy service or whatever. I just wanted one price for all my luggage and a seat, and that deal was still better than the other airlines with layovers so all in it just made sense. Thanks for the feedback. I feel like I highjacked your post and you’ve been most gracious!

This special offer is good for a month only because it is a way to get people to book and fly with Spirit (maybe even to try them out) - a way to fill up the flights…a great way to get a good deal. However, with Breeze competing on that route too, the competition usually keeps prices low since both airlines are competing for customers. So, the good deals could continue beyond just that one month.
