Tucker’s Pavilion is a great place to detox, I found the staff very compassionate when I was in a similar place.

I left there and attended an inpatient rehab in Charleston, SC that was a low-cost no-insurance option. Years later, I am still sober and working for the same place I came through. If you’ve any interest, let me know.

My best to you.

Check out clean slate vcu. They accept Medicaid for Suboxone. It's going to be a rough transfer but you can do it. Life's so much better when you are not having to chase dope.

Hey man I work as a peer specialist, often times my job entails helping placing in sober living, 3/4 houses, or in patient rehabs

I will not say anything bad about programs in this area (they are all fine but have great dudes working there, just institutional problems”)

Do not - under any circumstances - go to Galyx or Calyx. I do not like to speak poorly of another program but they are a dangerously run facility

Please, shoot me a pm and we can discuss further on it with

FTFY.

Although payed exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:

  • Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. The deck is yet to be payed.

  • Payed out when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. The rope is payed out! You can pull now.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

Wow! I took a job there many many years ago when I was fresh out of prison and they were the only place that payed even halfway decently for a newly released felon. Was a solid stepping stone, but good grief what an awful place, even for a newly released ex-con. I had worked in the prison laundry room, and regularly cleaned inmates jumpers that were soiled from feces, blood, and even worse things. You can't imagine the smell of a suicidal inmates jumpsuits after intentional self-soiling, then being run thru a dryer 2 or 3 times after being "washed" in plain cold water. until you pull into the Tyson plant, that is lol. But the place did give me the means to have my rights restored and record expunged. I imagine those who want to could use that place to accomplish the same. Shame a place folks like me can use as a springboard is shutting down, especially in Glen allen where that demographic is woefully underrepresented as it is.

Forest Hill ARTS is the best inpatient I know of. I think your methadone can be achieved there….The healing place is another good choice based off what I’ve heard. But I don’t know about their MAT administration policy.

Good on you for your sobriety!! Keep up the good fight :)

2019 Kona EV. Got ours used 2 years ago with 36k miles for 26500. Has 258 miles of range, which is fine for road trips but when we're home it's NEVER an issue. We sold our second car, had a nema 14-50 electrical outlet installed behind our house (think washer/dryer outlet) and got a level 2 charger for like $600. It charges fully overnight from 0 to 100% - which we only need to do maybe twice a week at most. Charging at home costs us like $9 a month.

Once in a blue moon we'll forget to charge when it's close to empty - in that case we pay for fast charging at Carytown Publix, by the Panera at Libbie, or the Wawa at Chamberlayne in Northside. Usually takes 30-40 minutes to get to 80% and costs like $10. But again, extremely rare that's even necessary.
