IDK, when I lived in Savannah, which has a much larger St Patties celebration, whenever it fell on a weekend like a Friday or Saturday, it was a complete shit show. I mean it was always a shit show, but on a weekend it really was. Maybe they wanted to avoid that.

Strange timing, I recently got lunch alone in basically an empty restaurant, server never checked on me and sat on her phone at the bar. 0% tip. I don't like doing that but have no choice really.

These companies aren't money laundering.

They get funding via rounds, business operates at a severe loss in hopes to become very popular so they can take the user numbers back to the next seed round.

Rinse and repeat until they can't get more funding and close.

This is just tech basically, go look at early UBER to see how far in the red they were for YEARS, just living off funding rounds.
