Have some faith. This is in the right direction. Higher pay helps retain teachers and attract more teacher.

I had seen that one mentioned, I'll have to check it out. Tbh I had hoped to avoid 95 as much as I could (I know I could go through the city too) but it sounds like it may be worth it

It's only the very thing that has been holding this country back for decades with stagnant wages while productivity and corporation profits continue to rise.

yep. I know a bunch of people paying under 1k for fan apartments. Or museum district townhouses.
Ironically I think bartenders are more likely to be tied in than the average person!

that one gets thoroughly ignored. The things I've seen... I'd say there are as many shitty tenants as shitty landlords out there.
Oftentimes people rent to a friend undermarket to avoid the disaster. But make sure its a real friend, I've heard of disasters there too

At first I thought this was weird but tbh I think principals are often at the mercy of the board/administration in a similar way to teachers. Given the incredible amount of polarization in admin in recent years I think this makes sense

My dog has done thousands of damage to my house. And that doesn't even include hidden damages to my Fridge/compressors etc.
Pets cause real wear and tear, most of which owners don't notice

I think it's good to have a physical space dedicated to grieving loved ones if they so choose but I think there are better ways to go about it.

Is that ex -Dodson? They have a rep for being crappy, I think 3 months is pretty unusual.
But yes, that sucks. What's your budget? Rentals still seem very tight, if it's upper end I'm sure you'll be fine, but if it's lower end, it's really tough

The old cemetery without new people has no money.
I think American cemeteries would get more money early on invest it and live off what was invested which if it failed then the grave runs out of money.
Like 08 crash and then now the graveyard can't mow the lawn but once a month.

Yeah, evernest I had to let them know 3 months out but I know a lot of others are only the 2, just makes it annoying when I have to tell them but take a leap of faith since I can’t find anything, and give them a forwarding address when I don’t even have an idea of that yet 😂

From the US Department of Labor
>Labor unions improve wages and working conditions for all workers, whether they are union members or not. Unions help reduce wage gaps for women workers and workers of color. Union members have better job safety protections and better paid leave than non-union workers, and are more secure exercising their rights in the workplace.
Seems like unions do some cool shit.
