Omg you weren’t joking. How am I gonna make it thru (one more day of) February without it?!

I mean, that’s why it’s great in my opinion, you have plenty to do until 8/9pm and then you can Uber to downtown if you really want to. But I’d wager that no one moves to Ashland for the nightlife - they move there because it’s incredibly chill and not rowdy at night (aside from Huddle Up)!

The West Broad location had some in their mix-6 section on Sunday but it may have been old

Rates don’t matter if people are paying cash... A house just sold in my neighborhood for $403 per sq ft. We got our house for $287 a sq ft in August 2021 after going $50k over asking and thought that was high at the time.

They changed the release to the Fall. It was released back in October. You can probably still find it

I can't say definitively, but a cursory google doesn't show any kind of requirement for separate water heaters and does show that a single hot water heater is quite common for duplexes. You are likely stuck with your current situation.

Please do not support this business. The owner is a terrible person. He fired someone for being non-binary because he felt weird using preferred pronouns. He hosted Coffee with a Cop in response to BLM movement. He bragged ln social media that he didn’t have to let “any employees go” during covid but he DID give three of us zero hours (yes I was one of them). He actively complains about customers and hate when you sit in the lobby (proof: super condescending wifi password with a time limit) and also he cannot take criticism and belittles those who offer it (proof: Google reviews). This dude sucks.

I almost got hit on my skateboard 1000 times over the years. But never there. You start at the top on Parham and carve down into the parking lot.. so you had to wait for traffic to clear. Though there was way less traffic then.

I don't think all the trains from Ashland go into the city. Some stop at the Staples mill station only, which doesn't do you a lot of good. Additionally if you check the time tables you'll see that it's pretty useless for the evening hours.

Ellwood Thompson's has had the kegs in the past. But they also once had a hot food bar.

Ashland to Richmond is $7 each way. Ashland to DC is anywhere from $15-40.
The first train out is at 5:30 am back to Ashland. Doable if you plan on really tying one on the night before, just don’t miss the first stop.

Seems like getting an actual local coffee shop in the airport is a good first step in making RIC feel like you’re actually arriving in Richmond.
The current crop of Applebee’s, Caribou Coffee, Sam Adams Brewhouse, and Cheeburger Cheeburger is the most generic collection of restaurants imaginable. I’d love to see a local brewery or two open up a tasting area (Hardywood? Ardent?) and maybe a local restaurant setting up shop too. Get a King of Pops kiosk set up in the terminals too and now we’re talking.
