JUST there this weekend and would have picked it up for you for free… IF it fit which it seems unlikely. Needless to say, I’m sorry for being of no help!

I’ve seen those before. I feel like if you have a good business you don’t need to belittle bad reviewers because eventually the good reviews will outweigh them. And at the very least some constructive criticism should be considered since coffeeshops imo should be community cornerstones.

The same dudes that own Hot for Pizza also own Cobra Cabana and they also play horror movies on any given night (mixed in with classics like Road House etc).

Can also vouch for GwarBar & Wonderland as being good destinations for horror movies, although in most cases they are just on the TVs muted with captions while music plays in the background.

It's in Shockoe Slip which is Richmond's business district, lots of office buildings. A lot of the places there are restaurants around lunch time and then college/early 20's bars at night.

Anything they want? It’s not like the businesses close on the weekend? I’d imagine that people who chose to live in Ashland don’t mind driving 15 minutes to do whatever they want, or they enjoy spending time outdoors at the various parks / shopping and dining on the tracks in town, etc. I guess I don’t know why everyone just assumes it’s a barren wasteland. With nothing to do?

Sunday nights have been horror movie night at McCormicks (shockoe location) for like over a decade.

Always solid picks from Josef on the TVs and a good following of people.
