Mark my words, Glenn Youngkin will get less than 2% of the primary vote. maybe less than 1%. I doubt he will even win VA. He's done absolutely nothing of note that he can point to, unless his strategy is to say "well I would've been a strong conservative big boy like DeSantis, but the liberals wouldn't let me." People need a reason to vote for someone, and theres absolutely nothing of note Youngkin can say he's done in this state other than win. He's toast.

I tend agree with the central premise that Trump and DeSantis may eat eat each other alive, but it could also be over the second Trump calls DeSantis "Miss Florida" in the debates. That said, should the big two eat each other alive, I just can't see Youngkin being the one to break through to victory.

Of course - whoever wins, we lose. feel free to bookmark this post and own me the day Youngkin cruises to a 49 state electoral victory 😂

He bought the 18 most developable properties. Built 3 or 4 into half baked concepts and promptly got locked up.

The closest he came to a grocery store was turning the most beautiful grocery store building in town into a food hall. That never finished either.

You defending this charlatan scamster felon is all the argument I really need to make. The man is a plague on manchester and the fallout from his crimes hang over every vacant storefront like a diseased cloud.

Have you found any with PT? I was looking for the same around the city and didn’t find any with PT unless their wait was 2 years out.

Early 2000s to 2005 was late murder / early maximum weirdness. We're talking punchline magazine and Wadi and Alley katz.

2005 to 2010 was peak organically creative because everybody discovered each other through Myspace and craigslist and blogs and RVAMAG and created things like underground house shows and no BS brass and farmers markets.

2011 to 2016 was the early post-Lincoln movie branding period when everyone bought the RVA sticker for their car and send each other that one "RVA River City" YouTube video. we thought we were cool for having an international bike race in 2015. This is the period where people started getting brewskis at hardywood and all the other local breweries popped up in Scott's Addition. It feels like this is when Richmond was getting a lot of outside attention to include chef awards and such. A lot of international mural artists came in painted our city. There was a very small EDM scene at the time which I'm not sure I think it went away.

It's hard to say what 2016 to present has been. Covid 2020 definitely put a damper on the vibe.
