That's hardly true. First of all SAB is no longer a corporate entity. AB-InBev sole 'craft' ownership in the state is Devils Backbone. MolsonCoors zilch. Sapporo bought Stone but i am unaware of any other corporate acquisitions of local breweries in the same fashion. Constellation bailed and sold BallastPoint in Roanoke back to craft ownership.. A far cry from 'more often than not'

Very true on Lombardy Kroger. Their produce is just trash, so I generally opt to add a few minutes and go to Carytown Kroger. The others work out to be the same, if not longer than just going to Carytown (15-17 minutes). It would be lovely to have something clean and within a 5 minute drive, but I’m not holding my breath.

Probably accurate, but I don’t editorialize titles.

Just posting it here so people know that, despite attempting to put a serious effort into these elections, Republicans haven’t exactly given up on elections in blue districts and they can only win when Democrats get too comfortable and think they don’t need to vote.

No need to cross the river. Theres a few Food Lions (Hull St Rd, Jahnke, Forest Hill) a Kroger near Chippenham Hospital, and Publix/Target/Walmart all on Forest Hill.

Shoot, the Lombardy Kroger is closer to Manchester than the Carytown if you still feel like dealing with traffic across the river.

Yup, 3 companies control something like 80% of the beer market in the US. Of course that's the same for almost every product these days. The illusion of choice is keeping the country from realizing that almost everything we put into or onto our bodies is owned by a shockingly small group of companies and people.
