This never happened, nobody was put on hold and the cops showed up in less than 2 minutes.
wayoutwest85 t1_ja7tl47 wrote
So the cops showed up about 2 minutes after the shooting. The crime itself might be normal but gd was it frightening and absolutely not cool. No point in making it about anything other than a murder, Richmond is a tiny ass city. I’m just confused about how providing an update is bad, how many of you have been less than 100 ft. from a murder at 11am? You all sound like yuppies who like to bitch on laptops all day, and provide zero community support. I’m pretty sure all of the people, whose family members have been pointlessly murdered, want updates.

Reply to comment by Charlesinrichmond in Del. Lamont Bagby receives Democratic nomination in SD-09 by Mad-Lad-of-RVA
This election was pretty poorly advertised and planned - I know there were external constraints. A snap election like this basically means whoever can mobilize the most reliable Democratic voters will get it. That seems to be Bagby who is more plugged into the Democratic party establishment. All around a resounding victory for Dominion and coal energy.

e: Just for some context, every single city council election in the last cycle had more voters than this one (6,525 votes). Mike Jones running uncontested got 7,200 votes in his district. Only two council members received fewer votes than Lamont Bagby, Ann Francis Lambert (3,900) and Reva Trammell (4,300).

The art gallery at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen might work. You can decorate, and they have a broad list of preferred caterers that cover a wide variety of occasions.

OP, do you have an electronic copy of your lease agreement you could link? If not, could you scan it to PDF and link? That would help us to give you some advice on where other tenants (& their guests) are not abiding by rules (i.e. Section 2: Paragraph 4: Subsection 1)

Yeah, us 91 babies were the perfect age when the games hit shelves. The anime was on its first season in the US. It was a hell of a time.

>I haven't heard of anyone named Princess Blanding and I'm not going to Google it because you're saying it as an obvious partisan dog whistle.
No, I'm not. Are you context averse?
The comment you initially replied to said
"... isn't this what richmond wanted?"
to which you replied
"I don't recall anyone calling for legislation to defund the police"
to which I replied
"not familiar with princess blanding's campaign platform?"
Princess Blanding is the sister of Marcus David Peters the man who was shot dead while naked by RPD when having a mental health episode. Lee Circle was renamed after him during the BLM protests in Richmond. Princess, ** a Richmond local**, RAN FOR GOVERNOR OF VIRGINIA and was exceedingly popular amongst the BLM/ACAB/Defund The Police movement because of her criminal justice reform platform.
So yes, this is kind of what [some of] Richmond wanted.
Don't project your own partisan bullshit onto me just because I'm informed enough, and honest enough, to not lie about the fact that there 100% were calls to "defund the police" among people campaigning for the highest levels of the city and state government
If you honestly didn't know that or don't know who princess blanding is and don't care to educate yourself because you think anyone who brings that up is blowing a partisan dog whistle than I think you are far more ignorant than I initially suspect and most likely the person with the brainwashed partison-ideology

My greatest was finally beating the original Red and Blue mystery dungeon on Gameboy. I actually took some time off because it got so hard but I finally done it all with Salamence. Now I own the Blue and Red mystery dungeon DX and that game is much easier. Miss thr challenge.

I collected the TCG cards, was a certified TCG “gym leader” at our bookstore (which hosted Pokemon events) and taught little kids how to play. My nana let me have free reign of her basement, so I drew a bunch of Pokemon, cut them out, and decorated the walls. It was called the “Pokemon Palace” and it was the best hangout spot ever. A friend of mine and I would trade her “2 B A Master” CD back and forth, mostly for the Team Rocket song. I loved the anime and had like three Pokémon shirts that I got at the WB Studio Store. 1997-2000 was peak Pokemon mania and it was great
