On the other hand, I rented a nice 2br/1ba from them in the Fan for under $1200 just a couple of years ago. So I’m not sure it’s accurate to say they’re more expensive across the board.
ETA when I say “a couple of years ago” I mean that I moved out in 2022.

Richmond has things that are driving growth here. It's just that it's not tied exclusively to one sector, but rather 3 sectors.

Exactly I also would like to see a club with a big dance floor and more lounges.

That was why I never rented from them. A comparable place would be 1300 but they'd ask for 1600, and this was when 1600 for an apartment was considered ridiculous. Dunno what their prices are like now but I assume they raised them like everyone else.

Don’t say that, it’s dangerous!

My first card was a ponyta a kid gave me at lunch and my first game was Yellow on a Gameboy pocket. I still play the games (Legends Arceus really reignited my love) and I collect ghost type cards. Gotta keep it narrow so I don't go TOO crazy

Growth may be restricted in some areas, at least for a while. The fan is pretty much fully developed, and the "historical" factor already makes it difficult to change anything there. Although it could get more crowded if more houses are converted into apartment buildings.

Did you ever watch the Garbage Pail movie? I only got to see it because it was a special request on a tooth pulling day otherwise my mom would never have said yes.

Again, if you're going to make an argument, be clear about what you're arguing about.
I haven't heard of anyone named Princess Blanding and I'm not going to Google it because you're saying it as an obvious partisan dog whistle.
I can't discuss something that happened if I don't know what you're talking about.
I know there were people saying "defund the police," and I also know most people didn't take that literally or completely seriously. Who said what about it when went right past be because I knew it was another bullshit slogan meant to manipulate people's emotions.

This was honestly not my experience renting from them. Everyone’s rent is overpriced now, though.

I'd argue that people with kids want this even more. Nothing like paying $100+ for childcare to go out and have to be near other kids.

Happened to me a few weeks ago. My dog stepped on their shitty confederate grass for a sniff and the dude yelled at us to move, waving his arms and such. We basically just ignored him.

If you think the confederate terrorist sympathizers are going to be the ones stooping over to pick up your poo then you’re a fool, more than likely it’d be some poor black custodian or groundskeeper. That’s why I’m saying to think about who’s actually affected by your actions. Daryl Davis has converted tons of kkk members by talking to them: an actual, measurable change for the better. Y’all threw a fit and acted like children and got some statues taken down: a hollow victory. But please, start throwing feces around and get back to me to let me whose mind you’ve changed and what you accomplished to make things better other than feeling good about yourself for a moment and giving you something to brag about on social media.

Think you might have been on the down end, I'm a 91 baby and think I was in the sweet spot - Pokemon red and blue came out in 98 in the US. Yellow came to the US in 2000 and a personal core memory since I went with my parents to Target to buy it the day before my elementary school field trip. Played it the entire 2 hours there and back, it was fire.
