How can you make it stop? You can't. If she couldn't properly respect your grieving period, if she can't go a week without this incessant behavior, then it's probably a personality trait and not a fixable issue. It's up to you to decide what you'll do.

It depends on what you mean by “spend time.” You can absolutely be neighbours and friends. You can hang out and have barbecues and complain to each other about Mrs Next Door’s garbage bins.

But while you are her student, you cannot have sex with her. You cannot kiss her, speak romantic thoughts to her, fondle or embrace her, or in any other way have any kind of romantic relationship with her.

A teacher is in a position of authority over their students, so they cannot have romantic relationships with them. That can ruin their careers.

He walked back his original comment because he knew you were upset... not because he felt differently. He still wants to bang other women and will do it with or without your permission. You can decide that an open relationship is acceptable, you can wait for him to cheat and then decide how to proceed, or you can end it now before he gets the chance.

But make no mistake: he will try to have sex outside the relationship whether you're on board with that or not. Whatever decision you make should be made with that knowledge at the forefront of your thoughts.

If someone tells me something that’s painful for them, I’m not judging them for that. In fact, I want them to be able to tell me things like that and I don’t have a problem hearing it and being comforting. Or if they stayed. I know relationships are not logical, especially toxic ones and trauma bonds.

I’m judging talking about it fondly, as a complete 180.

I understand how you feel, but it should also be known that it's not necessarily another person's job to heal those pains and scars.

I think other people have the capacity to help, but we must also be willing to put the work in for ourselves, so that we can move forward. It may be a long, uphill battle, but it is not always impossible.

Oh so attack me for having an opinion. You are not a mod so stop being so delicate with other people's opinions and suggesting I not frequent this sub.

Of course guys do nice things for the sake of being nice but this guy is going out of his way to do so and checking out her posterior. So um, ya, he wants her. Furthermore, of course both men and women have an idea if someone likes them but this is a coworker so it can be a mixed bag to tread lightly upon.

I have been on this sub for years and literally nobody has ever been offended by my advice. Not until you so kindly fuck off. Have a good day.

You might be the best your husband has had but not the best his friend has had. Ask him what will happen if his friend is not impressed? Or worse, if his friend is so turned on, you are now the fantasy that his friend masturbates to. Does your husband really want his friends to think of you giving head to them? And if friend wants to join in while watching? There are so many things that can go wrong. Tell your husband you are glad he’s happy, but what goes on in your bedroom is private and you are insulted that he thinks it is a spectator sport. Next he will be asking for a threesome. Shut that down as well.
