Honestly, the dad keeps going in and out of the hospital. It's like a regular thing. The sky is blue, water is wet, bf's dad is back in the hospital.

My SO suffers anxiety and depression, so I know what you're going through. If she was feeling like this, I'd want her to take whatever time she needs.
You're a young cub yet, loads of miles ahead of you. Focus on getting your headspace right and the dating will happen when you're ready for it.
Talking yourself out of liking someone sounds like an excellent problem to have. If I could do that, half the mistakes I made in my life might not have happened.
OP if you haven't been to see a doctor yet, I'd recommend it. Like I say, my SO suffers similarly to you and since she's had medication, her life is a whole lot easier.
Inbox me anytime you want to chat.

Itās your relationship do all the investigating you need to get the whole truth. But common sense, which isnāt always common and it sounds easier than it is, would be to break up with the BF block and go no contact and forget about that woman. She can have him. He canāt be trusted anyways.

Hereās the thing, the people who complain they didnāt get a chance to explore are the people who are not happy in their relationship to begin with, and rather than do the work to figure out what they want and ask for it, itās easier to blame their circumstances.
But you can figure out what you want while in a relationship. If youāre happy and sheās happy, why predict problems that you donāt currently feel? Instead work to build your relationship, and over time see how it goes. Sure it might not work out but thatās true if you have dated a lot or a little. It sounds more like sheās afraid of committing to you and getting hurt, so sheās using this issue to address that fear.

No I'm not. I can't have sex if I'm not emotionally attached.

Are you even interested in casual sex in general? People are all different and painting everyone and their relationships with a broad brush doesnāt work. Your gf needs to understand youāre a person with your own needs (that arenāt just sex with randos) and wants and you donāt see yourself wanting to branch out in a few years.

Yeah. Iām having troubles with anxiety at the moment and maybe a bit of low mood. I could go, but I feel like Iād be forcing myself and I worry thatās maybe not fair on her?
I am also getting a bit worried about age though. Iām 26. Not getting any younger and I seem to have a way of talking myself out of liking someone

- He was sorry he got caught, not sorry he did it (or else he would had never done it to begin with)
- No do not contact her bc who knows if she would even tell the truth. And its likely to stir up more drama. Honestly, id just be done with your bf bc if he can do it so easily once, he will most likely do it again.

I asked you very specific questions and you didnāt show me his response. For instance, why wonāt you kiss me unprovoked.
Sure, your reply makes sense to my second set of questions. What are the answers to my first set. You need to ask him very specific questions targeting your needs and wants if they arenāt being met. Donāt ask him his feelings bc he doesnāt care for that conversation. Be logical and specific with him.

Reply to Bringing girls home by LuckySport541
The man is 28, he knows bringing girls home from a club (in matching ratio to the guys too) at 6am with no explanation or reassurance to you is at a minimum disrespectful to you/your relationship. Donāt let him gaslight you into thinking your issue with this is due to āmaturity levelsā unless heās saying heās not mature enough to be in an adult relationship.
If they are legitimate platonic friends of his, I feel like that would be known and obvious and he wouldnāt get defensive and angry. If his boys wanted to bring girls back to try and hook up with, he doesnāt need a third one and stay up to party with them.
Decide if you want a relationship where your guy brings girls home to his place from nightclubs and turns it on you being the problem, or not.

Don't worry about upsetting people. Your mental health is the priority and a happy you is more important than an upset randomer. Moving is hard, moving cities is harder and it's wise of you to postpone a date if you're not feeling ready for it.
Take whatever time you need to get your head right. Dating can wait and if this potential date is worth it, they'll wait too.
