You've already crossed the threshold and found the evidence. Was it a slightly crummy thing to do? Yes. However, let her know that you have the info, and it's game over for her.

A little piece of advice: don't let this experience sour you or put a bitter taste in your mouth about women and relationships. Not everyone is going to cheat on you. You've learned a valuable lesson here. You learned to trust your instincts. Take that lesson and the other positive things you've learned from this relationship and move on. Best of luck.

HA no chance. This further shows how untrustworthy he is. He'll say anything to get the results he wants. You were strong, you walked away. Now stick to that decision. This is not the best you can do, not even close. You don't need to listen to his bs anymore, he lost that privilege when he cheated. Edit: Because I'm petty, I'd make him put his money where his mouth is. Let's see that forgiveness in action. hey, not the most mature approach but it sure would be funny.

because it’s not a compliment, at least not in the sense of an actual compliment.

He is basically saying you’re a good mom because you’re willing to stay and put up with his behavior. I’m sorry to say that’s not a good mom that’s someone who is trapped by manipulation and needs to leave.

Leave completely, he doesn't deserve you and you sure as hell don't deserve him! I would also make sure that he can't come back and I would block, delete and ghost him. You deserve so much better and you need to be happy and single without any burdens of him. Good luck to you

It's his job to rebuild trust. You can't help him. Time alone can't. And he can't just say "trust me".

To motivate him he needs to believe you are willing to divorce rather than tolerate his behavior.

Talk to an attorney. The first hour is typically free. It sends a message that you're serious.

Currently, not at all, and it's very sad considering he has kids. It's really like im their dad, and I love them a lot so that's tough enough. He refuses to get along with the mother of his children, and he broke his phone a year ago, so I've been middle manning everything for a year. I know he should eventually get better, but when will that be? He's concerned with having fun right now so that could be forever. I keep seeing the good in him but he keeps it from me.
