My biggest pet peeve is that many people don't understand 4-Way stops.

It's especially annoying when riding a bike. I know the rules and I follow them. Don't stop to let me go. Do your job. I'll do mine.

Oh wait. Don't take a left turn that blocks traffic! If you have a line behind you and no opening in sight, bite the bullet and go straight. It will take you an extra minute, but save several fellow drivers several minutes - each.

I'd suggest looking through some of the similar threads here. There's some great info out there, already.

I like walking, as suggested above. I start near the Pedestrian Bridge. From there, you can do the river walk or Benefit Street or Fox Point or the Jewelry District.

If here on Saturday, go to Hope Farmers Market. If here on Sunday, go to The Flea, and the RISD museum (free on Sundays).

Get a coffee, get a slice of pizza, get a beer or get a cocktail, depending on your tastes.

I did all that 10 years ago, and ended up buying a house here. I've never regretted that move.

My advice is to ditch your car and walk everywhere. Providence's beauty is in the details, stop often and appreciate your surroundings.

Yeah public allowed at least when I went pre-covid. Had driven past it a million times on road trips to visit my grandparents in Maine, finally actually stopped to visit a few years ago. There was a security guard, but we just told him we wanted to check out the glove and he showed us to the elevator for the best view.

You were almost out of there when that bus just decided "Nope! Not today." That part of Ives is always terrible and the bus loves just heading straight down. I wonder if making parking on only one side would be a possibility

Not surprised tbh. I think I recognize the server and they’re related to the owner I’m pretty sure. I stopped giving business to this place when I found out the owner was taking the servers’ tips.

You’re better off in New Haven.

You won’t have any form of public transportation after a night out as RIPTA ends before midnight, and you genuinely wouldn’t want to be drunk and on a RIPTA bus with the locals who use it as a hangout spot.

You’re honestly better off living in Westerly. You’re commute will be less, and the actual quality of life will be dramatically better.

An employee was wearing a Q sweatshirt who gives a fuck. Now your gonna boycott the store? just don't even come out of your house if a sweatshirt is gonna offend you, good god your so weak minded. Posting this just goes to show how vicious this subreddit is to any outside views that don't align with MSNBC. OMG look its a person who doesn't agree with my politics.. Get the Pitchforks. "Everyone who is woke must be warned to stay out of Saki's pizza because they have thoughts and opinions that I don't like." This is what I hear when I see this post.
