I would recommend Craftland and other local artisan sellers.

NE alternatives staff is sometimes a little too talkative for me. I think the business must stress friendly customer service but I really just want the interaction to be basic and minimal conversation. Nova and solar are good about that!

I like Northeast alternatives for bud (Fall River) but sometimes prefer Nova Farms (Attleboro) for edibles. I love the betties edibles!

Depending on how often you end up traveling into Boston for the job, Amtrak also offers ten ride and monthly passes which can help on the cost front: https://www.amtrak.com/tickets/departure-multi-ride.html
Amtrak is much more comfortable the n the MBTA

Elmhurst is safe (but stay away from the edges of Smith Hill, Valley, and Wanskuck). Lots of noise right near Providence College; the rest of the neighborhood is quiet.
Avoid Wanskuck and Silver Lake. Lots of crime.

Slater all day. I order online, pay with my card and go in the drive thru. The busy line is for ppl who didn’t prepay and screw that. Edibles are good. 8ths for 20-30

This is how I feel about Elmhurst. It's a nice looking residential neighborhood, but it doesn't have much to offer beyond that. It works for a lot of people, but I don't drive, so it would be tough for me to live in a neighborhood like that.

We bought right around the Elmhurst/Wanskuck border. Very quiet street. Neighbors are friendly. Lots of older people, but younger families slowly moving into the area. We can walk to a couple places, but mainly drive to go out to eat. Everything that we like to do is within 10-15 minutes. I have 3 buses I can take to the Providence train station which is nice. We are in our mid 30s with a baby, so we were looking for a slower paced area. Overall, we love it.

I can’t pick… I have my three that I love.
Nova’s deal on ice water hash is amazing and pretty decent prices overall. Solar in Somerset (Seekonk is fine) has my favorite budtenders. NEA has a super solid selection at a low price. CommCan runs some good deals, I once got 2 carts for $40 and will always give me stickers or a battery if I need one.

Mother Earth wellness in Pawtucket. They have great product and a nice shop. Well worth going there and staying in state instead of going to Nova or Solar

It’s not 30 minutes but Cannabist on milk street in Boston has good stuff. Just use the commuter rail
