So this has been brought up more than a few times recently. Best Buy (at least in Robinson) now carries a full inventory of PC hardware, enough to surprise me. From prebuilts to actual video cards, AiO coolers, CPU's, m2 drives. In relatively recent memory the only PC componets they had were portable hard drives, thumb drives, and like 3 monitors in the back corner - this has changed.

I took the trip to Cleveland last year (maybe year and a half) to visit Microcenter, and it was nice and all but busy. 95% of people are going to order components online, but it's good to know that Best Buy has "I need it today" parts, like when my SSD went out and I had to buy a M2 drive on Black Friday.

No, Coghill dumbed down topography to “we have hills”. And no one is arguing that the idea the city is hilly alone is ridiculous, but it was a ridiculous thing to say in the context of that conversation. Especially because the only thing council was seriously considering at the time was diverting a measly $5 million out of the police budget and zero officer cuts.

I think it’s pretty easy to understand that even if we cut our police force by half, you still wouldn’t have to have a car from Shadyside respond to calls in the South Hills. So, for Coghill to use the topography of the city during the debate around police funding where we were never in danger of having so few officers the hills would become an issue was a strawman.

Its best to see a house when or right after it rains. Fortunately in Pittsburgh that's most days. Always check the basement for smell and touch the walls, some owners just put new paint in the basement rather than Drylock, it will have a different feel. Look at the floor joists overhead for mold, most people forget about that when they are cleaning up the basement for sale. Always look at the bottom of items in the basement, water heater, stair landing, any posts etc.

Every single news headline written in the past 5 years has been done so with the goal of maximum penetration into social media. The media corps pay a lot of money to 'experts' on SEO, social media placement and trending.

If you put my headline next to the one that was used - I have no doubt that mine would get picked last most of the time.

"The union revised that by specifically outlining the exact disciplinary action officers will face for certain violations."

Allowing the offenders to dictate their own punishment. Makes sense. Some day perhaps a city administration will stand up to these gangs but it's not going to be here and now, apparently.

https://trexprotect.com/blog/cost-of-deck-installation-how-much-does-it-actually-cost/

Labor 15-35 plus material 15-30 = 30-65. But we are in a weird market with contractors who are overbooked so they are charging whatever they want and making big profits. The real cost should be around $50 but he is getting fuck you quotes of $90 which what a coincidence is the exact number you quoted so you must be some sort of genius. $60 labor on an 18x15 deck is $16,000. Most people could build a deck themselves in a month just working weekends. These prices have gone bananas bc people are stupid enough to pay them.
