Reply to Primanti's mail kits? by [deleted]
I received one in Texas about 6 years ago. It arrives in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice - well packed. You heat up the meats and stuff and then combine everything into the sandwich. It was pretty great - not quite the quality of a sandwich you'd get at a Primanis restaurant but pretty damn close. It's a wonderful taste of home for the Pittsburgh ex-pat

Making a claim and telling someone else to do your homework for you is lazy bullshit.

I really enjoy your stuff, but I especially dig this. It's cool seeing your progression at this over such a short time.

I agree with your statement about UPMC but disagree about the surgeon. The article explains that the surgeon was known for performing three complex surgeries at one time. Ignorance about billing is not a defense. The surgeon performed three surgeries at one time, how did the surgeon expect to explain operative reports with the same operative times, by the same doctor. They all knew and will just be cleverer in how they bill in the future.

Lmao same, after staying in one of the spa rooms at Hotel Monaco a Japanese soaking tub became one of my endgame/bucket list house goals.

I stayed here too. Way nicer that Fort Pitt motel and you are within walking distance to Zone 28 for your date night.

I stayed there before. It’s pretty gross and very outdated.

What college are you attending? Many have loaner technology for students available, including webcams (source: I work at a college in an area that provides exactly this service)

Reply to Perryopolis auto auction by Dramatic-Ad1423
If you don’t know how they work, I would strongly suggest staying away.
At any auction, you have the major players and bottom feeders looking for scraps. You are the retail customer that is trying to compete.
If you find something you like, you’re going to end up paying up for it because it likely is something that everyone else likes.
Also, keep in mind, if it’s at auction- someone didn’t want that car for some reason or another. You have to find out what the reason is before you buy it, or it will cost you a lot later.
I’d stick to trying to find a car you like through retail outlets. This isn’t Mac Bid, buying wholesale cars can be dangerous.

Yes! That's pretty much exactly what I've heard. Great care, worthwhile, but a majority of patients won't give birth there in the end. If you can swing it financially, I think it's worth hiring a doula and planning to have the actual birth at Magee.

If you don't get any answers definitely give N Stuff Music in Blawnox a call. Their instrument techs are very well-regarded and I believe they have a specialist for this kind of work too, but if not they'll point you to who could do it for you. Really cool people and genuinely helpful and knowledgeable.

Oh that’s good to know! When I tried it without soaking, I found that the larger leaves were still a little tough. But that might have just been due to them being the outer leaves and being tougher anyway :)

Reply to comment by TheNWTreeOctopus in UPMC agrees to pay $8.5 million to settle whistleblower lawsuit filed by former surgeon by Newkid92
I worked for a couple UPMC Presbyterian ED doctors years ago and their research fellows. It was disturbingly shocking to see the research fellows' pagers go off when a patient meeting their research criteria presented to the ED. It was like flies on shit. People are nothing more than a possible medical study for UPMC.
