You signed the lease. You're right, it's binding. Have you tried just asking your LL if you pay on the fifth, 'just to prevent hardship' or to break your payment into two payments, 1st and 15th. Get it in wrighting (confirmation text) if he agrees.

I guess I don't understand why the default is they can be parked anywhere they like? Wouldn't it make more sense to have particular spots they can park? I've ridden a few scooters like this in Europe and some have specific places they can be parked.

Well, three people were in operating suites at the same time, technically all under his care. To what degree he provided appropriate oversight for each of their procedures was one of the main points of contention that UPMC would rather pay millions of dollars than discuss in detail….

Tranq darts don't work like they do in the movies. The target doesn't drop instantly. Even nature documentaries tend to make them seem quicker than they actually are due to editing for time.

Here's a Youtube video involving tranquilizing an African Wild Dog in real time:

https://youtu.be/k4D2pDk4Yvw?t=35

The shot is taken at the 35s mark. The wild dog runs away and even ends up coming back to continue eating it's prey. By about the four minute mark it's starts stumbling around drunkenly, and then only goes down after about five minutes.

How much damage could a human with a gun cause in that amount of time? Plus unlike animals, humans have hands and are likely to rip out a dart before it's had a chance to inject it's full payload.

Ultimately they're just darts of medical sedatives. A bigger dose could theoretically produce a faster effect, but an overdose can easily kill someone. Unlike in surgery you're not going to be able to have an anesthesiologist to carefully administer the proper dose in real-time and monitor the subjects vitals.

It's already a controversial practice for police to have agitated and uncooperative individuals sedated with ketamine by responding EMTs, and even that can lead to severe complications and death despite the administration being done by medical professionals. Giving police pre-loaded darts to shoot at people without medical supervision would be disastrous.

Because there’s a clear path to resolution—multiple even, because if they don’t want to sign into the app (reasonable) they can call or email—but they’re just impotently raging about it here.

If they want these scooters banned or enforced via legislation to avoid this scenario, all the power to them. Not one person has claimed this is anything less than a nuisance. But the reality is right now contacting the company is effective so refusing to do it on principle and complaining about their rights on Reddit is downvote-worthy

Of course they know where it is. My point is: how would they know if it’s a problem if no one reports them? As far as they can tell, they’re just being used normally and parked appropriately. It’s only an issue for one single guy (op) sometimes when it happens and when he needs to drive

Wait, so what are you supposed to do with mop water?? Dump water full of chemicals/soap outside? And I'm a homeowner but I still get plant dirt into my sink sometimes, it happens when watering houseplants? Been in this house 3 years now and my ancient main sewer hasn't imploded yet, nor have I had any other plumbing issues. Seems dramatic.

The only reason for his political existence for years was being the anti-Pete Wagner guy in the 19th Ward. He got his wish in '14 when Pete stepped down rather than being defeated by Coghill (Wagner loyalist Jim Sheppard, former Motznik DCoS and longtime LGBTQ activist/leader, ran in Pete's place and lost).

What happens when the dog catches the bumper? When Coghill defeated Rudiak's CoS Deemer to be her replacement, I wasn't happy but I figured "well, he got what he wanted so let's see what happens?" The long and short is he ended up being Motznik 2.0.
