The children’s museum is a slam dunk. I’ve been to a couple, and they aren’t even close. We’ve been there 4 times in the last 2 years and will certainly be back again.

Rotten eggs odor can indicate H2S presence, extremely dangerous and deadly.

> ...and it's easier to deal with Verizon as a customer.
I think that's debatable. I've been switching back and forth between them for nearly 20 years, and Verizon's customer service in my experience is way more pleasant but way less competent. When you call them, they will be kind and polite but it'll be a total crapshoot on whether they fix your issue, give you accurate information, or even get you to the right place. When you call Comcast, there's a real chance you'll get connected to a raging asshole, but there's also a real chance they'll fix your issue in one or two tries.
I think what it really comes down to is which do you hate more:
Getting in stupid arguments with random strangers on the phone, or
Dealing with cheerfully stupid morons and restating your issue to every new person you get transferred to

can we just acknowledge that wind blows in different directions all the time? I understand there are prevailing patterns but I feel like a lot of people on the sub lean hard into the idea that the wind never blows east in this region. It's WIND for goodness sake...

I think insurance will be a challenge. Expensive, complicated, or both.
I also see you mention having a cafe and animals. I wouldn’t count on being able to serve food or drinks if animals are present because of our county health code. I know some of the cat cafes had issues and had to go to extreme lengths to have animals and food in the same-ish space.
Also, I’d keep in mind that pittsburgh has a relatively small population, so many niche businesses don’t find it easy to survive here. That being said, there is a bunny cafe in the works and they’re having trouble getting it going, partially because there is little demand for it.

I love the bird hall. Never let it change. There's little interpretation, little explanation, but just a wonderful showcase of the old naturalist's joy at simply collecting things.

Sure. If your water doesn't fully break and/or you're in labor for too long, or any other complications, they send you to Magee.

What you're describing is illegal, for very good reason, in any civilized country (and certainly any country or state that derives some of the foundations of its laws English Common Law like PA does).

if you can get fios, do that, even if it's a few dollars more than comcast. You'll get better service, reliability, and it's easier to deal with Verizon as a customer.

Good luck. We had our son at Magee. Our kids birth certificate was incorrect and we’ve paid the $20 to have it corrected twice. Sent back incorrectly both times. Born in 2019 and still to this day not correct.
