How much extra you talking about. An extra bag or two just put next to the Jin and they will take it. Break down the cardboard and all your recycling as much as possible. What doesn’t fit in your container wrap up with twine and they should take it. I’ve never had a problem with a little extra garbage next to the containers

Haha I was out of town for 4 days over Christmas so that explains it! I hadn't realized I had such good timing with the weather, I usually prefer to stay home.

Mower places may do it too or know who does since they sharpen blades too.

Consumer preference and demographics are the driving forces.
Fast casual meals are often coming in at the same price point and generally of better quality. Most dinners aren't interested in sitting down for an hour + meal that is generally not on par with the fast casual alternatives.
Inside the city, there is a whole host of options to complete with ENP, specialty brunch spots weren't a thing 20yrs ago. ENP realized fast casual/changing consumer preference and targeted these crowds by way of SixPenn(RIP), The Porch, Hello Bistro.
Denny's, ENP, King's, Bob Evans are all dinosaurs that aren't bringing in business when there is an abundance of competition. Years ago, their competition was probably dinners, but most dinners have closed up in favor of these newer age alternatives. If you look around the city, there just aren't many sit down restaurant chains.
So, outside the city, life moves a bit slower, considerably less competition from the brunch & mimosa, more families on family budgets, etc.

No. If it's a 30 cent advantage pay discount then it's just on the advantage pay part. You can't use advantage pay with multiple payment methods. You'd need a 2nd transaction for any other payment method.
Also the getgo by me only has a 15 cent advantage pay discount. I be surprised if it's 30 cents anywhere though the person may be getting confused with the 30 cents off of gas through fuel perks. GetGo seems to make their advantage pay discount comparable to a 4% credit card, gas money back type offer.

20 years ago I used to take mine to a little hardware store on 8th Ave in homestead. I don't think they're still there, but call really tiny hardware stores near you as they probably do it or know somebody that does it. Or you may also want to call somebody that does knife sharpening.

The Pirates regularly have more viewers per game than the Penguins.

All said, the place wasn't great for the food and it is honestly surprising its lasted this long, but losing it is still very sad. Many Pittsburghers have fond memories of stopping there for an army and hanging with Al.
That was my family's favorite nostalgia spot when everyone was in town together and Al always gave the kids quarters for the toy and gumball machines.
I'll be going to get a Franco Italian Army before it closes and will truly be sad to never have the chance to go back.

Well, rest and often starve.
How about take us forward to the future where we take advantage of our ridiculous levels of productivity to work less but maintain the same standard of living?

TBH the food ain't great. Though besides the hardcore old people who go it's the people who went at night who didn't care that much what the food tasted like.

OP wanted to pay most of it with the gift card, but put just $1 on Advantage pay to trigger the 30cent per gallon discount.
The question is, would that discount apply to the whole purchase.

Yeah hello bistro is underrated imo. As you mentioned the salads are huge (I’ve literally never finished a whole one) and the prices are reasonable. Also the burgers and fries are also good.

I'm so confused. Advantage pay discount only comes when you use advantage pay. Op would need to put $$ in the debit account or be prepared to get an overdraft fee

You can prepay inside using Advantage Pay.
From what I understand OP only had a couple bucks in his bank account that’s linked up his Advantage Pay. So he paid with a gift card. The question is if he added another dollars worth and paid that dollar on Advantage Pay, would he get the 30 cent discount applied to all the gas?

Interesting. Yeah I gave the attendant my card, but she just took my phone number. I'll have to go to a GetGo that doesn't have a gas island.

You can. The register has a button for it, but it requires you to have your physical card, not look it up.
