There were so many iconic music venues and nightclubs that are now part of the past. Off the top of my head there was The Decade, Graffiti, The Electric Banana, Holiday House, Club Laga, The Upstage, Metropol, Rosebud, 2001, The Turmoil Room, Cloud 9, The Lava Lounge, Nick’s Fat City, City Limits, Syria Mosque, Millvale Industrial Theater, Heaven, Mirage, I.C. Light Amphitheater, Rex Theater

I use to work there for a long time. The former owner Steve did it all for his son Brandon. He sold the business within the past year due to some health issues. He’s really a good guy. Anytime I see someone ask I recommend the place. From what I’ve heard Steve’s wife still comes and makes the gluten free crust. I believe Brandon not only has celiacs but severe food allergies. It’s why Steve was pretty strict on the product being made well and proper.

Here's hoping they're ready because those first few weekends are going to be packed.

That "Deadliest Roads" series is great. It's actually less sensationalist than the title suggests and will (probably) make you think PA roads aren't so bad after all.

I still think the original Pechins near the Fayette County Fairgrounds should be remembered. As a carny who traveled all around the state in the 80’s, it was still our favorite stop when we resupplied for all our spots in western PA and WV.

It is lower than regular salt, because it’s mixed with herbs, spices, and garlic. The pepper one is great too.

Not Pittsburgh proper, but I can't help but think of all the classic Kennywood rides I had growing up in the 90s that are gone now.

Crazy. Can’t imagine John the Baptist needed all that. But that’s the sad part of the state of the church today. Control, and fees, and paperwork.

Yeah they used to have a page on their website saying about as much, I looked for it to link it but it's no more. Probably because it changed ownership. Sad to hear about the health issues but I'm glad to hear the new owners are keeping it going/keeping the spirit of the former owners. Best GF pizza in town, it's a 30 minute drive for me and worth it every time.
