I looked there for my wedding, but your guest list either has to be really big (like 200+) or really small (like 30). They don't have an appropriate space for mid-sized weddings.

This is the best news about Pittsburgh I've heard all year. If you haven't been to Piper's, and even though they're not operating taps right now according to the article, go. One of the best bars in the city, and the full menu is really good. It's been a 10/10 for me (a sports fan) every time, but if you don't like sports it's great off hours.

Thai Cuisine has a bunch of gluten free (and dairy free) options. I also recommend Pastoli's pizza

Worth noting that Mandy's is not just doing it to be trendy, one of the owner's children I believe has celiac's and they take it really seriously. One of the few places I actually trust vs say Eat n Park's gluten-free buns that you know the burger is coming off the same grill as everything else.

I’m sure any pastor would be happy to discuss the sacrament of Baptism with you. Most churches will not just offer baptism (especially if you’ve already been baptized) but many will do a reaffirmation of faith.

WorldVision has a warehouse in Glenfield that does this as well (if that's the charity you work with). They get a lot of donated retail clothing, and have a wall of fame of the more interesting pieces. If you ever wondered what happens to all the "Steelers Superbowl XLV chaps" shirts that are printed up - they get donated and shipped overseas due to NFL licensing restrictions.

We got married in the outdoor garden in October 2014. It was one of the few venues willing to accommodate our small wedding (less than 50). It ended up being cold and raining, but it was still a great setting for a wedding. Beautiful facility, and some great photo spots right across the road in the park too. As others have said the food options are limited, but from what I remember everything was good and well liked by our guests.
I liked that there is car access to the outdoor garden area so it was super easy for us to get our decorations and obligatory Pittsburgh cookie table set up in the limited window before the ceremony.

Another startup not profitable enough to cover their own payroll. 90% fail. working for one is like playing the lottery with your career.
Maybe they're hoping someone will buy them up.
