I lived in WI in the 80s and Mr. Yuk commercials appeared frequently. I had no idea until this post that it originated in Pittsburgh!

We got them in Upstate NY too. My wife who grew up outside of Phili never heard of it.

I remember I ordered a Mr. Yuk mask a few years back. But yes they still make the stickers as I'm sure you've found out by now.

Ya I see the options. Just wanted to see where people were going. Where's the best to go to?

You do realize that companies have fully self driving vehicles without a driver giving rides to paying customers in Arizona and the Bay Area at this very moment? Saying they have hardly made any progress is just laughably wrong.

You all had useful stuff. I just remember the DARE posterboard with a bunch of pills stuck to it and thinking "Wow, they look like candy, I want one"

Um, we're not in a war. You'd think a journalist and activist would know that.

Reply to comment by arguchik in We’ve lived in Pittsburgh (Southside) for a whole week, already live it! Can I get some restaurant recommendations for my husbands birthday? Local places! Thanks! by WhitneyJames
I ate there for the first time the other night.. BLEW me away , the rice was insanely good ( just the reg table rice) , first time eating short ribs ( AWESOME) & got some spicy green beans.
Love going out to eat & while many places have good food, this place really shocked me.

Ah! I'm from central MD, so definitely less familiar with the eastern shore. Thanks for the link, though! I learned something new today. :)

That loop they took doesn’t go on any of the closed portions. So what are you trying to say?

Love BSM. Great sandwich and portion for the price. They have local favorites in the store like Millie’s.
Are some of the items more expensive then the grocery store? Sure but I would rather support an independently owned grocery store in my neighborhood than support big chains.

I lived in Delaware and never once heard it called the DMV.
Delmarva is the name of the peninsula.

But aren’t roads and highways “specialist infrastructure” as well that require expensive construction and maintenance? And what about parking garages, lots etc. that take up tons of space? Not trying to be contentious, just genuinely curious about the difference you mentioned.
