It’s not a thing here, even though that type of cleaning is easy to find in other places. You ask people about it here and they look at you like you have two heads.

That place in Allison Park was the only one I knew of and it’s gone. I think at this point, you either have to shell out for the detail or do it yourself unfortunately.

The old place I believe it was $25 plus tip. Included full exterior wash and interior cleaning. Interior cleaning consisted of vacuuming, interior windows cleaned, and dressed the dash and jambs. Pretty simple stuff that I didn't mind paying $10 for.

Moved from NE NJ and all of the car washes have this option. It's actually the exact opposite of what we have here in Pittsburgh. Prices are the same and range between $20-30 for the exterior and interior.

I haven't seen that option anywhere. Out of curiosity, what was the price for interior cleaning?

Seems like it would be hard to offer a "kinda clean" middle ground between basic vacuuming and full detailing. I can imagine people complaining that their car isn't spotless after paying $10 or $20 extra.

Ah I see. I actually got a farmhouse drop-in from Ikea, but it was wider than my sink base so I had to trim some material out of the neighboring base for the strainer. Then I used wall cabinets to make a coffee bar base with a bar sink, which also required some trimming. To me that seems like a reasonable amount of tweaking. So if you want everything to just fit by default that could be a problem. I still think they are very easy to work with and "customize" with relative ease.

went there once as a buddy to someone with priority pass and tried to show the bartender my ID and she pushed it away and said “we don’t need your credit card, it’s all included”

ask your primary care physician to prescribe you qty 2 xanax or low dose valium/other sedative - one for departure, one for return. carry them in the prescription bottle and take after going through security.
