The last two times I was there, it was a comedy of errors. Wrong orders from both the kitchen and the bar, out of certain ingredients, disinterested staff.

When I hear "gated communities and new construction" I tend to think of the suburbs, particularly around Cranberry. I'd probably search there. Maybe Seven Fields.. also stretching towards Mars and down to Wexford and up towards Zelienople.. that entire area has lots of communities but they aren't necessarily gated, more cul-de-sac sort of living but it's a similar vibe as I think you're looking for.
I have no experience with Dallas and don't know what you mean by "master planned" though so can't be of much help on specifics.

Imagine how they’ll feel when the old lady tries to chat with them about the contents of their cart in the check out line. OP is in for some rude culture shock.

I think I got the Korean Bento Box with chicken, spring rolls, kimchi and potato salad. Also tried the korean style pancake and it was great.

Yeah, my wife and I went to the Galleria the other night and were surprised to see it was shut down. Last time we went there it wasn't very good though, which is why we thought it shut down.
FWIW we still enjoy Burgatory in Homestead.

Honestly, agreed. I’m decent at digital illustration and trying to visualize how to create this in vector software (that doesn’t rip off thousands of artists to produce its stuff).
OP, this piece honestly looks delightful! But please consider avoiding this exploitative medium in the future.

I thought Milkshake Factory's expansion always seemed bizarre and unsustainable. The East Liberty location opened in the dead of winter, exactly when everyone's jonesing for a milkshake. That one and downtown always look like the ultra-luxe stores at the mall--bright, clean, empty and with lots of dead-eyed employees milling around.

Their burgers were worse than 5 guys, which is a problem for a sit-down place called literally Burger

Crowne Plaza hotel near South Hills Village? Or maybe 1781 Club (old Scenic Valley golf club) in Finleyville

Only time I ever went there it just felt like mcdonalds with a higher price tag. Food wasn't necessarily bad but it wasn't anything that brought me back.
