We don't need gated communities in Pittsburgh. If you've got very serious money (like 10s or 100s of millions of dollars) then you can get a gated private estate in Sewickley Heights.

I can't speak for now, but like 20 years ago when I worked in Sheetz management it was an unspoken idea that they avoided cities and high population areas. It wasn't their target business. They preferred places where people went versus places where people lived. Which is an overly simplistic way of putting it.

They had concerns with land cost, taxes, logistics, and security that made them just avoid those areas and prefer other areas.

I have taken the intro class at Keystone and will vouch for it. You spend some time in a classroom type setting and then go to their indoor range. You can bring your own gun or use one of theirs. There will likely be many people there who have never handled a gun before. No political topics were discussed.

you are exaggerating the effectiveness of annual reassessments to feel superior while ignoring the costs and deploying hyperbolic strawmans to avoid admitting your solution is mediocre and full of loopholes. it has implementation challenges and bureaucratic waste, while calculating a clr for each neighborhood is orders of magnitude cheaper than reassessing every house annually

Places you're allowed to mind are libraries or coffee shops (if you buy a coffee), and that's pretty much it. Otherwise you could find office buildings with lobbies and ask the front desk if you can take some quick photos. Or just be quick if there is no front desk attendant.

California Coffee Bar or Anchor and Anvil both have cool vibes, you'd have to go at a slower time if you want a better selection of places to pose and I'd probably still ask if it was cool but I doubt they'd care as long as you don't take pictures of anyone else haha

We've been going to Rustic Ridge in Wexford for over 10 years now, they're definitely in your price range.

They're pretty low-frills, just a basic kennel, but the owners have been doing it for decades and take wonderful care of the dogs.
