Duck Hollow on the creek. If you go under the bridge and walk up the creek a bit there are soooo many perfect skipping stones, then you can bring some down to the bigger pools for more distance.

Sure, it's not impossible, but Sheetz requires a much larger lot than Getgo. There just isn't a lot of land available that meets Sheetz criteria.

Thanks for the advice. I called 311 and they said to review the lease and try calling the fair housing authority. My lease only states I’m responsible for water, not how it’s divided.

I’ve never seen an actual gated community in the Pittsburgh area. They may exist but they are going to be pretty rare.

Costco has the 18 packs that are 16.9 Oz a piece. It’s unreal.

Total? Once you factor in the city tax that doesn’t exist in the suburbs? Not saying you’re wrong. Just literally surprised at that.

This tracks. Sheetz business model is finding locations off the interstate on the edges of cities/towns.
My hometown used to have one without gas in the middle of town. They closed that decades ago, but now have 3 or 4 on the outskirts, all off I-81 exits. It’s the same here with the I-79 corridor.

When my friend that’s a year and half younger than me turned 21 I took her out on Carson. And I just remember thinking “why are we here”.

Reply to comment by sitadino in How Does Pittsburgh Weather Compare to Chicago’s? by PatienceOk3159
Oh and meant to say, Pittsburgh is literally surrounded with beautiful hiking and mountains and fun. Nothing like driving out of Chicago to the shitty soybean fields
sitadino t1_j6kdcjj wrote
Lived in both, chicagos weather is a million times worse. Yes Pittsburgh is gray, but gets nowhere near as cold as consistently or dramatically as chicago. (Pgh people think they know winter but they have little idea hehe). Public transit, as has been said, is variable depending on where you live in pgh but nowhere as reliable as the L. Car is whatever you prefer, I have lived years in pgh without a car working all over the city. Just try to picture most city’s public transit in the 90s, that’s Pittsburgh! You would enjoy the urban hills here, it’s quite a playground if you like them. Biking is fun too
