They also previously changed their tuition reimbursement from $18k to like $5k and didn’t make an exception for people already enrolled.

Also one day they announced everyone will have to work an extra half hour a day without a pay increase

Was also told because my position I had to take two weeks vacation at at time. New hires only had ten days vacation for the first few years.

They went 2-3 years without any cost of living increases

Promotions without pay increases. And sometimes would result in becoming exempt and losing money

I’m sure there is some other shitfuckery I’m not remembering. Regret not quitting on my first day when my blowhard director was too important greet the new hires.

Where’s the great neighborhood you are speaking of ? 1100 a month on a mortgage with 12 acres and a great school . Soooooo 4500 so you can get 4 different restaurants with tacos and some other over priced goods ?

I paid $450 for one month of electric in a small small apartment that was only 62 degrees for a month before it got cold cold. I was barely in the apartment, worked full time, had all the windows sealed, blankets and drapes covering places where the wall was cold, and a cheaper space heater that ran a lower BTU with low voltage draw. I tested the fusebox, got the meter checked, and yeah. It was just that expensive.

So the landlord wants you to pay extra because their plumbing infrastructure is inadequate and is leaking? This would be an immediate call to 311, I’d inform the landlord I’d pay my regular rate, or a 1/3 of last years bill from the same month, if every month is fairly consistent this is a no brainer. Get their responses documented. Also review your lease.
