I also use Cera Ve with SPF and it's pretty good.

It doesn't get as intensely cold in Pittsburgh at the height of winter as it does in Chicago. Otherwise not a huge difference. While Chicago's skyline is hard to top, between Pittsburgh's still-decent skyline, the hills and the bridges, it is more interesting visually IMO. And as a runner, there's so much more to explore, both on the streets and in city parks.

Just go to work. Your silly 'protests' do nothing.

There used to be several Sheetz in the city, including 2 in Lawrenceville (across from Iron City and at Penn Butler and 40th.) I think they closed because this sites were too small to support the type of stores Sheetz was moving towards. The main reason Sheetz doesn't have any stores in the city is there just isn't much suitable land for them. They probably require 2+ acres, near a major intersection, easy access in and out (ie,dedicated left turn lanes), ability to get a ton approvals from city and state.
EDIT: Butler and 40th

Nope, I am definitely thinking of the right one, its caddy corner to the gas station that just got a bit of a revamp. Been closed longer than ive been in the area but they DEFINITELY did block work to it and the one bay has materials in it. Whole place is surrounded by a chain link fence. The McDonalds one I use once in a while.

I worked on a design for one in city limits but it never ended up getting put in. Not sure the reasoning.

Tough to find skimmin stones in these parts. Pickins are slim. Recon you’d have better luck on the Erie shoreline.
I’ve had a touch of success in McConnells Mills and on parts of the Allegheny north of town

Yes and no. Higher costs generally associated with being in the city from taxes, rent/land purchase/wages etc but you can't really charge more for the good and services, not enough to match profitability outside the city anyway.
Things could be changing in the next few years on that front though, sheetz will probably end up in the city as they have aggressive growth targets for Western PA.

I’m not sure but putting one in South Oakland would be a total goldmine.

Wanted to add the National Aviary as a suggestion as well, it's pretty unique to Pittsburgh you won't find in other towns, even if they have a decent zoo. Beyond the exhibits they have a lot of animal encounters, and even penguin feeding. I took my kids when they were in that age range and they got a huge kick out of it.

Yeah, it's definitely best to avoid going out to eat on Valentine's Day and the weekend before the "holiday". I know it's the feast day for an actual saint, but the whole thing feels like a farce by card and chocolate companies to make money in between Christmas and Easter.

Your gas and electric should not both be that high. Whichever is your heat MIGHT be that high, but the other should be low. Same will be true for the summer if you like your thermostat on 65 which makes your air conditioner work overtime.
To answer your question, that is not normal to have those prices for your utilities. You could call Duquesne light or Peoples but I’m not sure how much they will help you beyond basic advice over the phone. I would make sure all my bulbs are LEDs, my hot water tank is set lower, my thermostat is low, try to consolidate laundry cycles, try to consolidate dishwasher cycles, turn stuff off when not in use, and anything else you can think of to lower energy use
