OP isn't saying to stop worrying about it, just that there are much bigger problems with the same boat

Streets department would nominally be the department who would do that, however, your council person would ultimately be the best person to contact.

Nah, you’re correct about MA equalling a higher salary – that’s an investment of time and money and education to specialize in your field!

That place is awesome. Went a year ago but need to go back. Felt like a completely different world in there compared to outside of it

Thank god I bought my house when I did because I’d be screwed now.

It might be the worst sound I’ve heard in my life, I can never go there again, it’s just not worth paying money to not hear anything. And every single artist I like plays there when they come to Philly which is devastating

Ease of access. Lots of kids and their parents wouldn't think of going to a public library. If it's in school you would be more readily exposed to it.

So when costs are lower, does that mean landlords suddenly got less greedy?

When ownership changed hands and they were running the poll to pick a new name the top comment for a while was "The Diarrhea Sound House" and that's really stuck with me, refer to it as such exclusively now

Everyone should have housing but nobody is entitled to a fancy brand new apartment a couple blocks from a transit station. That my friend, is a luxury.
Rent is extremely cheap in the suburbs like Norristown if you can’t afford this, still commutable to the city.

I also got insurance through AAA. Geico wanted about $1100 for 6mo. Got $1450 for a year. I’m in KOP so my rates are lower, but that savings was for real.

Agreed it seems like every extra dollar we spend on the PPD gets negative returns these days. Might as well spend it on something else.

Suburban schools also don't have to provide as much to their students because they come from better backgrounds, so your point is moot
