Dropped some visitors (one was from Gabon, another had an accent I couldn't place) at rave that was held in a part of the Budd plant last night. Always wanted to go to a rave...

Ooo awesome! My parents are out that way and I was so upset when Devi closed since we used to go all the time. This place looks great.

West Philly is my user tag, not the tag on the photo. Also, I didn't give you the down vote, as I was confused to your original comment. 🤷🏿♂️

They do it on purpose. It's expensive to dispose of it properly. "accidentally" spilling it makes it the governments problem and they just have to pay a fine.

I work all throughout Mayfair, Port Richmond. Kensington, Fishtown, Wissinoming, & Juniata Park on my route & I'm amazed at the vast amount of factories that were in Philadelphia. A lot of them have been converted into lofts/apartments

And we should fight back. If they're going to use chemical weapons on them, we should use our mass numbers on them.

Media never covers corporations poisoning the world. It would be all we see if they did. The media is corporate propaganda.

They do it on purpose. It's their disposal plan. To "accidentally" spill it and make it everyone else's problem. Yes, these people should not be allowed to exist in our society. They are destroying the world for profit.

In 1998-99 I lived on Wissahickon for a year in a beautiful old apartment complex that my school had subleased units from. One night I tried a different way home from my usual Lincoln Drive exit, exiting off Route 1, I made a wrong turn and ended up driving down towards Hunting Park Avenue and saw all of these cool old buildings. I never knew what these were at the time but seeing this photo unlocked a long ago memory.

Really glad you decided to spill mindless anti-LGBTQ drivel then fall back on "word around the campfire" being a pulp fiction reference and not just a general statement like everyone knows it was being used as. Seriously, nothing about how you used it references pulp fiction besides them both using it as a general turn of phrase.
In any event, it DOES matter to me and most of the other LGBTQ folks in Philly, considering the rhetoric around the country and even in our own state government is uh....very concerning to say the least. They should do more about other problems, but saying and pretending like this doesn't matter is kinda fucked up

LOL you're so dense you think we don't "see things from another's perspective" in this regard??
Of course we can see they don't want to pay rent. But we don't care. It's literally rich ass fucks not wanting to pay rich ass other fucks so they can be more rich.

Reminds me of a few years ago when the whole city smelled like sulfur one night. Turned out a plant in NJ had released a ton of some chemical into the air that was JUST TECHNICALLY within legal parameters. Kinda blew my mind then that that was perfectly legal, and it was at least (in my understanding) less hazardous than this current situation.
