Market East is a one seat ride on every single rail line in the city, North Philly is not.

The emergency doors in nyc have alarms too but people routinely hold them open despite the alarm sounding. So at a lot of stations they just disabled the alarm so it’s not constantly going off

Is that door "closed"? Looks like the top half is shut, seen a lot in Philly but not sure I've ever seen a door missing the bottom half

I like that idea. Especially if it was spread out evenly.
The person would wonder "Is that a different color? or is it rotting or something else? It's really weird since it seems to be expanding..."

what a lovely community where educational systems are resented and met with violence!

If at first you don't succeed, then dust yourself off and try again

It's like he's guarding the entrance to a speakeasy.
Cat: "I'm sorry you're not on the list."
Me: "Here's a key bump of catnip."
Cat: "Have a good time in there." *Swats back trash bag*

Honestly, I don’t mind it because there’s still spots available and it’s never really that busy in there anyway, and since people aren’t actually shopping they tend to take the spots near the street- as opposed to the ones up front near the entrance. Seems like a functioning ecosystem to me.
It’s just funny bc you’d expect like 100 people in the Acme fighting to the death over the last bag of chips if you went by the parking lot alone without the local knowledge.

To tell ya the truth, I don’t know. They had about 6 trucks out here and the whole intersection locked down. Pic doesn’t do it justice. But, as you can see, they were investigating something on that roof of the next block past Stogie Joe’s. Couple guys went up that ladder. Already left so guess it wasn’t that serious?
