It's a block and a half away, so it meets my definition of "by".

my guess is in order to get national chains to open there, they had to be able to sell to more than just the students who are only there half the year.

We really need a Land Value Tax. Everything within a block of a heavy rail transit stop should be valued much higher to spur development.

What a waste of space that lot is. Keep the diner, but put 5 or 6 stories of apartments above it. Right next to the Snyder Station and directly along the 37 bus route which gets you to the airport in 30 min.

The businesses that generate the future garbage in the first place with their styrofoam and plastic containers should bear some of the responsibility of cleaning up the neighborhood streets where their packaging ultimately ends up.

This really should be the responsibility of the businesses that generate so much trash with their disposable packaging. Many municipalities cannot keep up with the mountains of trash generated every single day. I agree that sanitation should be a public service, but it’s not the city that is generating all of the garbage.

I think it’s simply about money. I’d always see crowds of teenagers coming in after school to buy food.

like most crime things in philly, the scum putting those flyers up are coming in from the suburbs and nj to spread their hate. these slackjaws literally believe a majority of the public are sympathetic to their cause and seeing these messages will help activate others to white supremacy.
none too bright!
