I would enter the lot on the Broad St side, you're probably in H or C. As others said, they'll direct you.

I don't know, but even stating that, I'll confidently state that it was no where near the the total amount needed to replace the water system infrastructure.

It sucks but to be a good neighbor, you suck it up and re-bag it. I’ve had to do similarly on my block. I rather clean it than let it sit for days and get scattered about.

It’s an ongoing project that is always behind schedule. Home meters are good for 15 years so it should be based on when it was installed. I will bet many are way overdue and running slow, hence the threat of let them replace it or be turned off.

Reply to [Inquirer] Antisemitism reports rising in Pa., N.J., including Port Richmond white supremacist stickers by helplesslyselfish
> Residents in Port Richmond awoke Monday to find they’d become the site of a white supremacist recruitment campaign. Hundreds of stickers with racist, antisemitic messages were plastered to poles throughout the neighborhood, including its main shopping corridor, Richmond Street. Some stickers depicted Nazi symbols and ethnic caricatures; others supported Kanye West and his flagrant comments about Jewish people. According to a sweeping new report from the Anti-Defamation League, these incidents are becoming disturbingly more common. Figures from the anti-hate organization showed sharp rises in antisemitic activity nationwide last year. Pennsylvania saw a 65% increase.
65% is fucking crazy! Where are these people coming from?

Article mentions:
> Last year economists John Charles Bradbury, Dennis Coates, and Brad Humphreys reviewed more than 130 studies conducted over 30 years, finding “clear and unambiguous evidence” that sports stadiums and arenas do not generate strong economic benefits for host communities.
At the end of that paper's exec summary is this line:
> Economic activity in and around sports facilities on game day represents a transfer from other local commercial activity and comes at the expense of existing local businesses

>old meters
Didn't they just replace all the meters under pain of shutoff?

This is the type of quality of life issues that come with living in Kensington. Easiest thing to do is move to a different area.

I don't see where a union is needed. You mention overlords but yet there's union reps and bosses.
I mean if workers rights are in question, wouldn't it be nice if workers were educated on their rights? Those rights aren't upheld by any law that has consequences when those rights are violated?
No one can give a solid answer as to why unions are needed.
